I am a disabled veteran on social security...my home heat boiler went out... set up appt for quote. They quoted me $22,000 to start!!!! I purchased a higher end boiler for $3,000 and paid a non-gouging professional $2,000 for installation... job was done in 5 hrs...... SHAME ON YOU!!!! Some folks can afford you, and those who can't just get kicked to the curb, left out in the cold. Nice business model....

Hoffman plumbing came to my condo in Ballwin,MO to tighten bolts to toilet After technician left i saw toilet was off centered. I knew the technician was new as he called the office for instructions. When I called Hoffman plumbing to ask if someone could correct this, I was told bolting the toilet is not guaranteed

My husband and I had an issue with a hot water heater not heating up. Called Hoffman and they advised us to check the warranty as it would be cheaper than having them come out. Turns out the unit was still under warranty so we were able to get it fixed for free. Really appreciate Hoffman steering us in the right direction, I trust that they have your best interested in mind and will always try to do what is best and cheapest for the customer. If we have any plumbing needs in the future, we'll be contacting Hoffman! Beth was also a delight to talk to on the phone, very knowledgeable and follows up.

I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a job well done (not easy to find!) AND would like to learn what's going on during the job. The secretary, Beth, was extremely helpful in helping me understand the process for obtaining parts to my current faucet from the manufacturer as well as reviewing photos with a plumber, Shawn, to discuss how to proceed. This helps cut down on fruitless trips by a plumber due to a lack of information from the customer, which is ultimately cheaper for the customer. She was very patient with me as this was my first kitchen faucet repair. Shawn was awesome, too. He was extremely quick when he was here, and you could tell it was because of his decades of experience, and allowed me to watch and ask questions while he worked. I'm happy to support this company with stimulus check money; they deserve it!

Let them know I was a referral customer. Mark came out and gave us a quote, he was polite when visiting. There was poor communication throughout the process. We were told one thing and after I was given quote and questioned one of the items on it all of a sudden after telling me they could do job they backed out last second. Poor customer service.

Disappointing! Called, and then the first thing I heard on phone was "right now we're only working with our existing customers..." Good business practice (really?) ... After the reply from the owner - what I meant was you could have chosen your words well saying you are fully booked and there's no way to accommodate new projects at this time - that would be understandable - and not because I am a new customer.

We have always had the best experiences with Hoffman. Sean is the best, he finds a way to fix things other plumbers have given up on. Response time is good

Hoffman plumbing is by far the best in STL area. You can expect excellent communication, professional/ highly knowledgeable techs who take the time to explain the issue and repair, and fair pricing. Whats not to like!
