Professional, timely, personable. They jetted a 100 feet of sewage drain in a couple of hours and they have reasonable pricing. These are the guys I'm going to call when I need a plumber.

Had Brown come out for a water heater issue. They came promptly and appeared to repair the issue, which I appreciate. I was even told my water heater is a great brand because of the warranty policy. However after I filed my insurance claim, my agent told me some of the repair of that water heater should have been covered under warranty. I called that manufacturer and they said the repair company should have submitted a claim for the parts and not charged me because they could be reimbursed. I called Brown three times, left two voicemails and spoke to a front desk person who assured me I would be called back. I have never heard back from Brown after multiple months of waiting for a call. Iām disappointed because I feel like they were aware of the warranty policy and either donāt care enough to help me pay less money or are using that to make double money on my repairs. Had I known before they came that this was the warranty process, I would have been more forceful about the bill at the time of repair.

I donāt post a lot of reviews, but I feel insulted by the estimate I received from Brown Plumbing and Heating. I had them come out to look at replacing my old tank-style water heater with a tankless water heater. My install is relatively simple. I have a full basement, gas line is right there and venting through an unfinished space. The location of the venting out of the house is 30ft, at most. I received an estimate of $4650. While Ryan was at the house, he told me I was probably looking at about $4500. I had the distinct impression that he sized me and my house up and threw a number out to judge my reaction. I donāt have a recirculation line and installing one was not part of the bid. The Navien 240S2 can be purchased for about $1600 online. Call it $2k (generously) with venting and other materials. I figure itās a 5hr job, at most. That puts the labor rate north of $500/hr. While I agree that plumbing is a technical skill and doing it right requires a lot of talent, the bid I received is crazy and insulting. I had the Navien 240s installed in another house a few years back for about $2k total. Different town and prior to Covid, so I wasnāt expecting that same price, but I had a much lower number in mind as a reasonable expectation. I will state that Ryan did show up the same day I called. He was friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. I donāt doubt that they do good quality work, but be sure to get pricing upfront.

I am very disappointed in Brown plumbing. I chose them according to the reviews. Iām the Director of Operations for a government run building. I had them install 3 water heaters in January. They charged me a ridiculous amount of time for each water heater. My helper and I installed 1 in half of that time and weāre not professionals. Weāre a couple of old guys as a matter of fact. One of the heaters was defective and under warranty. I am still waiting to hear back from Brown Plumbing to get this fixed. Todayās date is April 10. I have left multiple messages and spoken to the very nice office lady several times. I believe their Google rating is rigged somehow. I would give them zero stars if I could. The Better Business Bureau is my next step.

Eddie with Brown P&H was out within 2 hours of my call in. He was professional, personable, and worked hard to fix our plumbing issue. He explained everything he was running into during the whole process and in the end got our issue resolved. I can't say enough positive things about our experience with him and the company. Hopefully we never need them again but he's my go to guy if I do!

Reno, Kevin and Matt did an incredible job! My water heater went out late Thursday night and the next day this crew got a new one all installed with professionalism and care! My basement has white carpet and these guys made sure it was left in perfect condition! Also thanks to Ryan for answering my call and coming out immediately to access the job!
