Major Drain

Nate was great. Very professional and very nice. He gave us an estimate of time and cost. He came under the estimate. Nate explained what he was doing and why for each requested work. He made sure he cleaned up after he had completed each job. Thank you Nate for taking care of us!!

We were so impressed with Major Drain! Our main sewer line started leaking and the repair involved excavation (in the middle of winter) and was a fairly big project. From the moment I called them everything went smoothly. The tech that did the original video inspection of line was great and then everyone that worked on the repair were professional, experienced, friendly, and efficient. They provided a quick estimate and got work scheduled very quickly. Prior to calling Major Drain we had another highly rated local plumbing company come out that ended up being unpleasant to deal with. They were either not able or not willing to diagnose/fix the problem. After that, I called Major Drain and so glad I did! Wish I would have known to just start with them. If you're reading this just call them and trust they'll do good job. By far, they were the best company I've ever dealt with for home repairs.

We are so very impressed with the Major Drain team that came out to assess our situation. We really appreciate their honesty and transparency in doing a thorough inspection of what the actual problem and solution was. It all came down to an issue of water being frozen in a P-Trap that needed to be thawed out and cleared. It led us to the need to add insulation around that area, and to look for opportunities of sealing some of the exterior areas near that part of the bathroom. Again, we really truly appreciate their honesty and integrity in that they basically could have told us anything and charged us as such. We highly recommend Main Drain and will refer them to anyone else that needs honest, reliable plumbing services.

Had a jammed up floor drain, they said they could have someone over the next morning, but then they called back a bit later because one of their guys had time free, so that was cool. Even with a slight error in diagnosis(snaked the main stack, then we realized it was just the floor drain trap itself that needed it) he was done in half an hour. Price came to exactly what was listed on the site for the first hour +tax.

The technician was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He answered any and all questions I had. Even gave me a few tips and suggestions. My washer drain had backed up. He gave a a couple of scenarios that “it” could be. But in the end it was a frozen pipe and a blow dryer worked. Definitely recommend this company. I was recommended to them by a coworker which had nothing but good things and high praises about the company.

A technician showed up within an hour of our call on a Saturday. He was very courteous and got our sink fixed in 1.5 hours. So thankful to have a working sink for the rest of the weekend and reasonable price for such quick response on a weekend.

We had a great experience with Major Drain and would recommend them for all of your plumbing needs. They are very honest and don’t charge you an arm and a leg! Wonderful company, no complaints.

Company: I love how their hourly rate is listed on the website— very straightforward labor pricing. First hour is one amount, every fifteen minutes thereafter is an additional amount. Booking was super easy over the phone which can’t always be said when calling trades folks. The girl picked up right away and got me on the schedule for the next day Plumbers who came to my house: I didn’t catch his name, but the tall main guy had crosses tattoo’d on his neck and gave the impression of being an upstanding guy. Gave me options on how to get my job done with consideration to my wallet. While I hope not to have future plumbing issues, I’d hope to get him again if I do. There was a second younger fellow who seemed good as well but I didn’t talk much with them. Definitely recommend
