The technician, Steve, showed up quickly after my Saturday afternoon call. He was very professional and explained in detail what he was going to do and what other services Omaha Drain could offer for my situation. The quick fix got me up and running in less than an hour. He answered all my questions and let me know what I could do in the future and what they can offer to be more proactive. There was no high pressure sales pitch, just knowledgeable information and options available. We will definitely call Omaha Drain in the future if we have need.

What a great experience we had with Aaron from Omaha Drain! After discovering water in our closet, we contacted Omaha Drain. They responded quickly and said that Aaron would be out between 10 and 12 that same day! He was ringing the door bell at 10:00! Aaron was professional as well as quite pleasant. After looking over the situation he explained quite clearly what would be the procedure to discover the source of the leak and the cost determined by what he might find. He kept us informed every step of the way!! I was impressed by his concern for our house yet wanting to do the best job possible at a reasonable price. His attitude and manner reflected a warm and caring individual! This experience restored my faith in service people. I HIGHLY recommend Omaha Drain!!

We had a cast iron main drain that had a clog in it. Aaron did a great job of descaling the main drain from the outside access. He had it done in under 30 minutes and we are so appreciative of his professionalism. Thank you so much, Aaron and Omaha Drain.

Overall, I’m pretty disappointed with my experience with Omaha Drain. A technician came out on Friday and wanted to camera the main line before snaking it, suspecting tree roots were the cause of the clog. I told him to just run the snake to avoid paying $99 for both the camera and the drain service. He ran the snake up to 50 feet but said it couldn’t reach beyond that, so they’d need to come back the next day and hydro jet the line for $560 and would remove the $99 for snake and camera. I was wondering why they didn’t have a longer snake and said that they’ve damaged previous main drain lines with larger snakes so they rather use their 80k jet instead of a simple snake to open the line. Assuming the same technician would return, I was surprised when a different one showed up the next day. After jetting the line, he found that the clog was just toilet paper. They also recommended a $24,000 fix to prevent future issues, but I just wanted the clog cleared for now. If they had a longer snake, I could have saved a lot of money instead of paying $700 for a 40-minute jetting job. I’m frustrated because I should’ve just called my plumber, who could have snaked the clog for $150 instead of spending $700 on jetting. They claimed the snake kept twisting and wasn’t working because the clog was too heavy, but in the end, it was just toilet paper. This whole situation felt unnecessarily expensive and frustrating. The techs were good at what they did but I paid way too much for a job that could have been resolved with a simple snake. At the end it’s my fault for not knowing better. I just truly that it was tree roots. His camera couldn’t verify anything because of the clog.
