John was terrific. Confirmed the issue I was having. Implemented a fix quickly and efficiently. Once he replaced the valve there were some issues further up the line he was able to identify and correct. He also checked my water pressure and discovered that I had more pressure than I should. This led to discovering my Pressure Relief Tank was no longer serviceable. As I just bought my house I would never have known! A refreshing experience having a technician that truly looks out for the customer. I hope to have John back to complete the replacements that I will need. Thank you again!!

In the quite short time our tech was with us, he began by giving us a conditional quote for $300. Having had this exact same problem before, my record of prior charges shows other companies 1. Did not give a quote before physically examining the issue and 2. Did not estimate the cost at twice what we had been quoted in the past for the exact same service. Unfortunately my actual reaction was to thank him then ask him to leave. However we needed our toilet to operate correctly so I agreed. He went to his truck, returned with a wire pipe reamer, put it in the toilet and removed the rag or paper obstruction. On his way to retrieve his shoes, he apologized for arriving late. It seems the service truck he was given had bald tires and he ran off the road. He also told us this was the second time this had happened. Be all this as it may, he had a wonderful personality, he quickly fixed the problem and departed 15 minutes after his late arrival. I believe charging $300 for that is unacceptable. I can assure you that we will never again call PlumbTite. That’s my honest feedback. Make of that what you will. Robert Van Praag

My experience with Chad at Plumb Tite was fantastic. Our company subcontracted Plumb Tite to help us determine a rat problem for a client. He showed up on time, was polite, courteous, and very professional. He was methodical in his work ensuring we had as much information as possible to go off of before we decided how to move forward. Chad made our company look good to the client and with his tools and skills was able to help us close out an over year long process. We WILL be using Plumb Tite in the future should a similar issue arise for another client.

On Saturday evening, I noticed I had a leak in the ceiling later revealing it was from a leaking connection stemming from a shark bite coupling installed by a previous owner many years ago. I went online to Plumb Tite’s website to schedule an appointment and was called back in five minutes. We scheduled the job for Monday between 2:00-5:00 and Chad W called at 1:35to announce he was en route. Chad arrived and we surveyed the problem and discussed options. (Note: prior to his arrival, I visited a plumbing supply and picked up a new Delta shower fixture. My thought was let’s change out the cheap one that was in there while we have the wall opened up and prevent a future visit in this area. Chad agreed and had this job knocked out in 2.5 hours. Looked great! Chad was more than generous with his time and we discussed additional issues to address in the house at a later date. The price was up there. But, think of it this way, jobs inside walls should be handled by the professionals. Besides the peace of mind, he had to tools, time (it would have taken me a weekend to do what he did in 2.5 hours) and the expertise for this job that I didn’t. Other than lending a little assistance early on (mostly because I enjoyed the conversation), I went downstairs and relaxed in my comfy chair while he did the job right. That was worth the price.
