Plunger Plumber

This was a big project for us, replacing entire line to new tap in street. Quick to respond. They worked with me to get rolling in a few days. Pricing was competitive. Owner took time to discuss specifics with me. Crew was professional and knowledgeable, and worked well with city water dept when they arrived on site. I would use and recommend again for big projects.

When I was explaining what needed to be done, I told the plumber that I needed the dishwasher installed and a new garbage disposal installed. I was initially quoted $893 for this and it was in line with other estimates that I had received for the same scope of work — in fact, it was in line with a previous estimate I received from Plunger Plumber in November of last year, so I pulled the trigger and had the work done, since the plumber said he was available today. The garbage disposal was installed but the dishwasher wasn’t turning on, so I asked the plumber if he had hooked it up. He said that he hadn’t touched the dishwasher. I was a bit confused by this so I took the dishwasher out and made sure the drain was at least hooked up. The plumber connected a hose to the disposal but hadn’t connected the hose to the dishwasher, which is now leaking into the basement. It’s photographed below. I’m now being told they no longer install dishwashers. They offered $100 off my bill for the miscommunication. When my wife left a negative review anyway (since we had a negative experience regardless of how much was charged), a representative called me and said that we had agreed to the $100 in exchange for not leaving a negative review. For anyone reading this, I was under the impression that the $100 was for the miscommunication. I’ll happily repay the $100. Here’s another one-star review. P.S. They charged me $117 for a 1.5in PVC P-Trap and then had the gall to act like they were being generous for knocking $100 off. Again, if you would like me to repay that, I will. Edit: In response, I supplied the dishwasher, told the tech it wasn't installed and asked the tech if he would like me to provide a disposal. Also, the tech would know that the dishwasher wasn’t installed because 1) I told him it wasn’t when he first arrived, 2) I pulled it out in front of him, and 3) the hose that he connected to the disposal was dangling to the basement. I never said there was nothing they could do to make it right. I said that “since you no longer install dishwashers, I don’t think there’s anything you can do.” I’m not complaining to get money knocked off my bill; I just want the dishwasher hooked up like we initially agreed verbally. When I finally got the written estimate, all mention of the dishwasher was gone but the price was the same — roughly in line with a previous estimate that included dishwasher installation, give or take $150. The tech also admitted that he did say he would hook up the dishwasher. Instead, I have a drain hose dangling to my basement connected to the garbage disposal.

Just bought our first family home and after a week of living there the drains all started to make gurgling noises. So I called up plunger plumber that next Monday and they made it out same day to fix what I thought to be a clog. Come to find out it was a venting issue all along and none of my drains were running correctly. So I asked if they could do a couple more things for me since they will be here adding a new bathroom shower head and running a line to my refrigerator. They got me a quote that day and came out the very next day to start the project and was done by Friday. The quote was very well priced compared to competitors. Brendan Wall did an amazing job. Definitely will be calling them for future plumbing work! The black bathtub doesn't do it justice. It's 100 times better.

I reached out to this company during an abrupt situation during the week of the severe cold front (January, 2025). I called on a Friday afternoon, and they scheduled a service call for Monday morning! Impressively quick. My initial request call went great. I had immediate confidence they would be able to handle the issue. They reached out again Monday morning to confirm and give me an ETA - right on schedule. My tech was all pro. Definitely knowledgeable in his craft. He had the diagnosis quickly and gave me an on the spot estimate that I had 100% faith in. If anything else arises, I would call on them again without hesitation. Highly recommend.

Came out (no dispatch fee or quote fee) and couldn't produce the problem a few weeks ago. Very nice and respectful and offered to come back if I wanted to wait and see. (I shouldn't have waited but that was my choice with no pressure from them) Problem came back and so they sent out another technician. He came today and in under an hour had it all set! Thank you!

I had an issue with my water tank and had Brendan Wall come out and assess the situation. He was able to give me a fair honest assessment and was able to replace my old tank within a day. Very honest reliable company. Would recommend 10 out 10.

Alex did a superb job. He explained each step to remedy a bad situation and followed-through. It took a week to jett the pipes clear, assess the situation, obtain permits, jackhammer through the foundation, dig out and remove rotted iron pipes, replace them, pour gravel, pass an inspection , and pour cement. I found Alex to be : helpful, honest, professional, empathetic, personable, diligent, timely, and competant. All that while teaching an apprentice, who gained valuable experience. He was a joy to work with , and I am grateful.
