While installing a brand new front door on our home, it was discovered that during the construction of our home the front door opening was constructed incorrectly. We immediately called Columbus HandyMan and they immediately responded. The very next day, several guys were out to take a look at what we found they gave me a plan of action a very detailed estimate And exactly how long they believe the job would take. Well here we are, the job is now complete and it was exactly as they stated. They were extremely professional. They cleaned up after themselves. They made sure to explain the process to me and all in all We are very satisfied. We would recommend their work to anyone who has any jobs around their home. I recently inherited our home of over 100 years, and with it a multitude of projects. I couldn't decide which company to call to do what job? I'd had used Columbus Handyman before on a small job and have seen their trucks in the neighborhood. So, I explained my dilemma and Derek did a walk through with me, inside and out. I requested two separate projects and got a quote that we then made adjustments to, and putting off one project until next year (screened in pourch). The work got done on one day with 5 tradesman. Any problems were taken care of and worked out. I appreciated their thoughts and ideas. I was kept in the loop the whole time. I was really pleased with all the work. And like I said, you're going to find other problems in a house this old. So the new problem is on the schedule to be fixed. I can finally see things fixed and working safely. And now there's the peace of mind that's it's done. Thanks to John and the team, it's really appreciated!

Replaced 2 basement windows for me! John the owner was helpful and prompt in communicating about the replacement. Chris with Best Glass Block completed the job and it looks great! Reasonable cost, very happy with the work.

We used Columbus Handyman last year. We needed 2 locks on our fence door replaced and our screen on our screen door. They didn’t give us an estimate just said they could do it, I should have asked but thinking it wouldn’t be that much or really take that long to do. The work took pretty much all day to do. The screen door screen still isn’t fixed we have to put the screen back in constantly. The gate locks do work. Got our bill and I feel was over priced and didn’t even itemize out what we were charged for. Did clean up after themselves.

We had Columbus Handyman fix our kitchen sink faucet and install a new screen door and both times they did a great job! The prices were reasonable and they were efficient and on time. Highly recommend!

In a gruff voice, the owner of Columbus Handyman told me he'd been in business for 30 years. That was meant to assure me that he stands by his work and wants customers to be happy. I called them to replace the weather stripping around the door of my garage and the door sweep at the bottom of the door. All pretty straight forward but... it wasn't. I still had a gap at the bottom after they replaced everything and was agonizing over the loss of heat and mice getting in the garage. When you live in the woods you get mice. John sent 2 guys over right away. They worked on it for about 30 minutes and couldn't fix it. Shortly after that John sent over 2 more of his guys. They literally worked for hours to close the gap between the garage floor and the door sweep. They worked non-stop. The floor is concrete and uneven. I am giving you all the details--how many people he sent, how long they worked, because John kept his word. He fixed the problem. I have never seen any contractor, vendor, service provider excell in this way. John you've got a customer for life. Thank you and thank all your guys for me!!!

Had a great first experience with Columbus Handyman! The timeline from first contact to completion was quick and communication was excellent. The job was priced within budget and installation went great. This satisfied customer will be back!
