Z Excavation & Plumbing was a great find for me! They were clearly experienced, and communicated with me what they were going to do, and exactly how much it would cost (his was the best quote I got too). I called Monday, and Dave came to quote same-day, next day he was able to get the city out to mark the water shutoff, and the next day they was able to get all the work done (despite needing to call in 2 work orders to the city for various roadblocks my house put up for them). Dave did a great job replacing our main water line with a new copper line from the street to our house. Finished it up in a day. Treated us very professionally. If you need quality work at a reasonable price, hire this guy!!

Very impressed with Dave. I called him for a second opinion when a large plumbing company said they cleared our sewer line, but we needed to replace the line. He saved us thousands of dollars by using his camera to see it was still mostly clogged. He was not able to clear it himself and worked on referring someone that would do it affordably. I so wish I had not panicked and called the first name on the internet; however I did find Z Exavation in the end.

We had a great experience working with Dave Mayfield from Z Excavation. He arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the two water main leaks on our property - one at the curb box and another in the front yard. Dave explained the problem very clearly and provided a detailed estimate for the repair. Like to mention that Dave was the only one to notice that we had two leaks. Three other companies that gave rather inflated estimates did not even notice the second leak in the yard. Dave and his partner completed the work very efficiently and left the yard clean and tidy. We deeply appreciated Dave's professionalism and expertise throughout the repair process. Z Excavation and Dave Mayfield well deserve the 5 star rating.

We used Z Excavation to replace our broken water line. Dave came out to give a free estimate, and was easy to communicate and schedule with throughout the process. He was patient with all of our questions and always showed up when he said he would. His pricing seemed fair, and once we knew what options we wanted, he was able to give us an exact price (the other plumbers we got estimates from told us it would be “plus or minus $1000”). We will use Z Excavation again for any plumbing needs in the future!

I highly recommend Z Excavation. David Mayfield is the owner, and he does all his own work. I had a water line break in my front lawn. I called him on the Saturday of a holiday weekend, and he was at my house within 30 minutes. He got all the necessary permits and had the work done the next business day. He is super responsive and cares about doing a good job. His price was great, and he was wonderful to work with. Call him.
