Dayton Sewer and Drain

Recently had a clog in my kitchen sink. Contacted Dayton Sewer and Drain and they were able to come out the next day. I was very happy with their service and cleanup once the job was complete. If another problem develops in the future, they are the people I will call for service

We've used Dayton Sewer & Drain for line-cleaning needs at our 62 year-old house in Kettering OH since 2018. When "everything" was backing up & not draining today, I gave them a call a little before 9AM. Gene promised to be there between 11AM & 1PM. I asked that he call me when he was on his way. As promised, he called & showed up at the house right on time. He even brought his VERY well behaved 14 year-old Australian Shepherd copilot (who stayed in his vehicle the whole time). While I thought the problem was due to our daughter's long hair plugging up the drain line from the bathtub, Gene (correctly) diagnosed the problem as a blocked main line. It took Gene about an hour to use his 300# power auger to cut/extract roots from the main line to the sewer. See the attached picture for the ~4" x 8" wad of roots that was plugging the drain. Once Gene was finished, he checked & double-checked to make sure that everything was draining properly. He made recommendations as to how we should avoid this problem in the future (basically, having roots removed from the line every 2 years or so). Dayton Sewer & Drain's bill was reasonable for the service they provided. There was NO attempt to "up-sell" us on services not truly needed. Gene quickly determined the problem & fixed it. We'll keep using Dayton Sewer & Drain in the future.

I am lucky to have a plumber who is so prompt, capable, and low cost that I can call at any time.

They just came and cleared our line after our washer was backing up. No issues now! The guy that came was plenty nice and very on time. Quoted us 2p-4p and arrived around 2:15p(ish). Price was about median for what I saw shopping around. In my opinion very worth it for the quality of work and professionalism.

This is the first time using this company. I do like that they are a very small local company. I called yesterday about having my main sewer drain cleaned out and Gene and Tristen came out this morning. They were on time, very friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. Very reasonable charge. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.
