Kettering Heating and Air installed our current furnace at a very difficult time for our family and did so with great speed, price and service. We've made two emergency service calls with them since and everything was handled very quickly, professionally and reasonably priced. Excellent staff and company.

I had Kettering Heating & Air out to my house recently to service my heater and they did a great job. It turns out that I had a damper that was broken and was not getting heat to my two upstairs bedrooms and they also found a duct that had some leakage. I thought it was going to cost me a lot of money to correct the issue but they did not try to sell me things that were not needed. It is nice knowing that there are still family owned business that are honest and take pride in their work. Thank you for the quick service!

Great service from Kettering Heating & Air. Matt quickly identified the issue with our furnace and corrected the problem. This intermittent problem was looked at one year ago by another Dayton area HVAC company - they made a nominal improvement and spent most of their time trying to sell us a new furnace. I appreciate that Matt was here to fix our furnace - not try to sell us a new one. We will use Kettering Heating & Air again in the future

I had four area heating and air companies provide quotes on the current home I’m working on. All but Sandra from Kettering Heating & Air were in and out in under 15 min. One was high pressure, one took 3 days to get the quote after a phone call reminder and one seemed disinterested. Sandra took her time, spending over an hour and looked over the old furnace and ducting in detail. She took into account the square footage of the property and honest in what we needed. Even finding a disconnected duct the others had missed. The installation team was professional and was able to start work a day earlier than planned. We will definitely be using them again!

My AC recently went out of commission so I gave the guys at Kettering Heating & Air a shot. The good: The service tech was on time, friendly, and informative, minus one key piece of information, which I'll talk about in the bad. The bad: The capacitor in my AC unit was bad. It's a 35/5 μF dual run capacitor, which is a pretty cheap and extremely straight-forward install, so I wasn't expecting the job to be too hard on the wallet. The one piece of information I wish the tech would have shared was the price of the part before he installed it. This is because Kettering Heating & Air apparently has a 1,000-1,500% mark up on the cost of simple, standard parts. The exhorbitant rate was on top of the diagnosis fee of $80. All said and done, I'm out a couple hundred for less than 40 minutes of labor and a simple, standard, cheap component. Had I been aware of the markup, I would have bought the part myself, pulled the fuse block, removed the 3 leads, the 2 1/4-20 bolts holding the capacitor bracket in place, and replaced it myself within 5 minutes of beginning the job. Hindsight is 20/20. I called Kettering Heating & Air to complain, and apparently the standard response is "The boss sets the prices, not us." So kudos to the boss, he won't be receiving any more of my business.

A few nights ago we experienced a major plumbing problem which required us to turn off all water to our house. We called Kettering Heating and Air. They sent an experienced plumber wo fixed the problem and got our water back on efficiently and at a reasonable price. Special thanks to Sandra, Jason and Matt. They are there when you need them with smiling faces.

Called these guys to come out my furnace at home. Not only do they do great work at a fair price, but their customer service is top notch. The tech, who's name is also Matt, was very helpful. My 3 year old daughter was running around the whole time he was working and he didn't mind at all. She even came up to him afterwards and gave him a hug as he was leaving.

Very prompt, thorough, attentive, knowledgeable and courteous from the initial phone call through the service call which was a furnace fall check. Would highly recommend this company and will continue to call them for our heating and air needs for our house as well as our rentals.
