- Negative: An elderly woman was overcharged $10,000 for a water service installation that was done improperly and unsafely, with rude customer service and a threat of a lien. The Miamisburg franchise was dishonest, unethical, and lazy in mitigation and restoration work, including billing for work not done, failing to provide documentation to the insurance company, and ignoring customer and adjuster communications. A broken HVAC condensation line was not addressed, resulting in further damage. Another customer experienced a poor mold remediation process, with extreme temperatures and a perceived scam. The business is not BBB approved.

Brandon unclogged a very long pvc pipe leading from my sump pump to a storm sewer. He showed up on time and was very professional. The job was much tougher than expected due to the location of the clog, yet he charged exactly what he quoted. He even coordinated a visit from another employee to run a camera to try to diagnose the reason for the clog at no extra charge. I could not be more pleased with him and his company.

They charged an elderly woman $10,000 to do a water service. They did not run it up under the footer like you are supposed to. They ran it outside. It is visible. There is nothing blocking it. They did not put a main shut off. It is not below the frost line, and they are threatening to put a lien on the house and I talk to the guy about it. He was extremely rude and said it was none of my business.

Had a plumbing issue at 7pm after most plumbers were closed, and so we called Roto-Rooter and they were happy to come out and fix our problem. Todd resolved the issue very quickly, and afterwords he explained what the issue was and the preventative maintenance steps we could take to stop the issue from happening again. Todd was clearly extremely knowledgeable, but also was very professional and courteous, given the late hour and the urgency of our issue. I would be happy to recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone with a similar plumbing issue, and specifically I would recommend Todd to anyone who wants their issues resolved quickly and correctly.
