This will be a long, but thorough assessment for new customers. My heat decided to stop working yesterday when it was 22 degrees outside. I called Perrysburg Plumbing and Heating first thing in the morning. The lady that answered the phone was kind, funny, and all around one of the most pleasant people I have spoken to in a long time. She found me an appointment for later in the same day. I would give her 10 stars if I could. The technician called 30 minutes out. Right around the time I was told to expect the call from him. 5 out of 5 stars for that. He showed up and we chatted for a minute, and I said I was not sure if it was the unit in the basement or the thermostat, because I have had issues with the thermostat in the past. He went down to the basement, did his thing, and came up about 30 minutes later and said it was my thermostat because there was nothing wrong with my heat unit downstairs. 5 out of 5 stars for honesty and integrity. He went to his truck and brought in a new thermostat and let me know the service call would be $99 dollars but to put in the new thermostat would be $350. I was like...what, $350 to hook up a thermostat? (It cost $75 to buy brand new- we Googled the one he put in) But it was freezing in my house, so what am I going to do? It took him 20 minutes to switch out thermostats. This is where I am a little miffed. The math does not add up. $500 dollars (with tax) for an hours work, when the first 30 minutes were only $99. So, they are saying the next 30 minutes shot up to almost $300? I did notice that my invoice I received electronically does not itemize anything, so if he would not have broken it down for me verbally I may have been clueless to the way they charged me. So was the service fast and friendly. You bet-the best. But the pricing shock and feeling a little like I was taken advantage of in a tough spot stings.

Came home from work to no heat. Called Perrysburg Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning, of course after hours, received a call back within 10 minutes. Technician was at my house within a half an hour of my first phone call. Tyler was fantastic! Within two and a half hours of my call I had heat and Tyler was on his way home to his family! Wonderful service & reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

The job was the installation of a new hot water heater. The old water heater was removed with care and I could not see any places that required additional clean up after the job was finished. The new water heater was installed quickly and I am quite happy with the finished work. I would not hesitate recommending Perrysburg Plumbing & Heating to any of my family and friends.

If I could give 10 stars - I would. I had sewage back up into my basement on a Sunday. I called and Zach was here within an hour. They dug and also installed a clean-out in my yard the next day. Everyone I worked with was professional and courteous. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this team. They were there when I needed them most and I am very grateful.

I have used PP for years. They are responsive, professional, friendly, technically competent & punctual. The technician today, Dave, was no exception. All I needed was a simple 9V battery in my sump. He replaced it & was in & out of here in 2 mins. & didn’t even charge me for the call which was much appreciated. I will def use them again & recommend to all.

Had these guys out to look at a radiator issue I’m having, I told the lady when I scheduled that I had 2 other companies out, and they basically wasted my time by bleeding the radiator and pretending it’s fixed etc. I told her someone needs to actually get under the house and make sure the pipes are right. she assured me they would do a full inspection, definitely not waste my time. Well the guy that came out ending up giving me his official diagnosis that the radiator was on backwards, needed to be rotated 180 degrees, said he would email me a quote. I didn't receive the quote so after a couple of days, I emailed asking for it, they sent me back the most ridiculous quote I have ever seen really, they wanted $1,100 to ROTATE the radiator, and that doesn’t even include bleeding the radiator. By the way, I rotated the radiator, and bled it today, guess what, still doesn’t work, so I guess similar to the last two companies they decided to rob me instead of making a good faith repair attempt. Unfortunately I have to come back and edit my review due to ownership being dishonest in their reply. I’ve updated the photo to show the whole bill, it’s rather surprising that if they had to fix a bunch of piping that it’s nowhere on their invoice. I’d typically assume they were referring to the 2 sharkbjte ball valves I installed, but that wouldn’t make any sense since the tech said that would make the job easier. As for timing of the review, I did reply to an email at around 9 am expressing my displeasure at their outrageous quote, waited a whole business day for them to reply, obviously they were either too embarrassed by the quote to reply, or they agreed with the email. I do appreciate him discovering the sump pump issue, that in itself I guess was worth the $99, and so I suppose his wild ass guess about turning the radiate was a free diagnostic.

Great company and staff. Honest, intelligent, efficient and helpful. Tyler did a great job of explaining the work. Recommend to anyone. There are some disreputable companies in the business and Perrysburg Plumbing, Heat and Air is one you can trust.
