1-Tom-Plumber

We would definitely recommend 1-Tom Plumber and will use them again if needed. They were recommended to me by a friend of my daughter. We had used a sewer and drain cleaning service a week before but they didn't bother to clean our main sewer line even when water backed up in a bathroom while they were here. We had water backup again in that bathroom the following week so I called 1- Tom Plumber. Matthew was sent out and used a special camera in our main line and found a clog with tree roots so he used specialized cleaning tools that cleared the line right up. Matthew explained everything to us and showed us the pictures of what it looked like in the line before and after. He was very professional and nice. We feel like this company is reliable, knowledgeable, honest, and reasonably priced for the services. Give them a call if you need a great plumbing company.

I was very happy with the customer service that 1-Tom plumber provided. To start, I called several plumbing comings around town for a general estimate for a toilet install and 1-Tom plumber was 1 of 2 companies that did. This was huge for me and showed to me their honesty and desire to be upfront about their costs. Their cost was also competitive, and reasonable, the same price as the other company I called. Second, I had a couple of issues after the install and 1-Tom plumber came back and ensured that the issue was resolved and satisfactory. One of the issues was a problem with the toilet itself, purchased at another retailer. They were not accountable for the issue, but they worked with me and gave me a good deal to help resolve it! I also really enjoyed getting to know Patrick. He was knowledge, and I felt comfortable he was doing what was in my best interest as the customer. He stayed late a couple of evenings just to come back to the house to work. I would definitely use them again!

When I discovered a leak outside from all of the cold weather, I gave 1-Tom-Plumber a call for the work to repair. The phone dispatcher was very courteous and professional. They were able to get Matt out to attend to my leak within about 3 hours and he had the work done in less than 2 hours. I had already dug about a foot into the ground to find the location of the leak. Matt came out and dug an additional 2' into the ground, pumped the water out of the hole and then discovered a 3/4" PVC male adapter as the culprit. The pipe was not busted and it was not galvanized as originally thought. The work he had to do was replace the male adapter and repair with 2 - 90 degree elbows to resolve the offset from the sag of the pipe. The work was done quickly and professionally. Matt did a good job. The only issue I have is the amount that I was quoted and billed. The quote of the work expected with it initially being thought of galvanized pipe with the service call was $2100. The amount of time it took for the work to be completed was less than 2 hours and that included Matt looking at his phone and sitting in his truck for 20 minutes. The work done and materials used was definitely not $2000 worth of labor and materials even with it being an emergency/weekend call. That equates to almost $1,000 an hour for the labor. If I had known it was going to cost that much to replace PVC pipe and fittings I would have done the work myself.

Matt was awesome! Very professional, polite, and respectful. He arrived within the window of time, even called to let me know it would be closer to the end of the window as they were finishing up the previous job. He listened to my issues, fixed everything, even noticed another issue I hadn’t mentioned and gave me a recommendation for that. Overall, I couldn’t have been happier! I will be calling them to do some more work as we continue our remodeling.

We needed a plumber early one evening last week for an emergency repair. Boy did we have luck on our side! Mike responded quickly and after checking out the problem he gave us assurance he could help us. He patched the problem leak so he could come back the next morning. He gave us the estimate of cost and time it would take to repair. Cost was reasonable considering the emergency and amount of time repairing the problem. Mike was great, professional and very personable. We really were lucky finding this company. I do believe we have a plumber to depend on now. Thank you 1 -Tom -Plumber!! Pat and Joe
