I really can’t say enough good things about my experience with Leak Locators. Thank You to Kath, Dylan and Michael for your professionalism, persistence, and grace in locating a very difficult to find leak. Very thankful it turned out to be a relatively simple issue of a loose PVC valve joint. Highly recommend!

We live about 45 minutes from Beaverton, on a community well system. Our meter showed significant water flow when no water was being used. We had a leak somewhere! Dylan responded to my call and was out the next day. With his equipment he identified a spot where he said the leak was located. After digging we found the leak in a t-joint, on our main line, “exactly” where he thought the leak was located. While the digging was not fun, I was impressed with the ability to pinpoint the location. The communication and professionalism was good and would recommend them if you have a water leak problem.

I wish I could rate a zero or negative value. Some notes to summarize our experience: • Their tech Dylan had to come out twice to diagnose our issue, and even after that, there wasn't an accurate diagnosis. We were told to "cut into" our drywall and "take a look around." • We diagnosed the issue ourselves, no drywall damage was needed. It was an issue that was previously brought up by us, and Dylan replied that it "wouldn't generate enough water" to cause the leak we saw. He declined to look at it directly when we described it and he was present in our house. • We were never sent any reports (initial or follow-up), but the bill came through just fine to our same email. Odd. • The most important part, THEY FLOODED OUR SECOND FLOOR LAUNDRY ROOM while performing diagnostics, they did not secure the washer hose back into the drain (it was placed instead of fed into it), and it flooded the room to the level that it cascaded down into the first floor. • When this damage was brought up to the reception staff, they changed the subject. At the time we were trying to get ahold of the technician, who did not send the initial report, said they would update a new report and took over six weeks to do so (insurance would not move on to other steps without it), and stated he was on paternity leave despite previously making no indication of this and stating he would be available to help. According to the reception staff, there were no other techs that could assist save for the one that was out of the office for an extended leave. Avoid at all costs.

Leak Locators were the only leak detectors to return my many calls looking for someone that could come out and find a leak for us the plumber couldn’t identify. They were the earliest available and great at explaining the process. They were great at communicating when to expect them and in very fortunate turn of events were able to help us discover a toilet seal issue and potential pressure gauge issue from their tests that were simple fixes the plumber had missed. Very professional, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I was very happy with the service I received from Leak Locators yesterday. Michael Houston texted me right before he arrived. He explained all the tests he performed. He marked a 2 foot circle where the leak was in my lawn. I carefully dug it up today and a small leak was right in the middle of the circle. 27 inches deep and no dampness on the surface at all. I made an appointment with a plumber for Friday.

If I could give 100 stars I would. I had water all over the road that was coming from the water shut off by the road. I had no idea what to do! I didn’t even know how to shut off the water! Thankfully, technician Dylan came to the rescue. Despite it being later in the evening after his last job, he graciously agreed to come out and investigate. His expertise quickly pinpointed the source of the leak. The following day, a plumber arrived and, remarkably, confirmed the exact location Dylan had identified. The leak was swiftly repaired, saving me from both potential property damage and a potentially astronomical water bill. I cannot express enough gratitude to Dylan. His willingness to go the extra mile after hours, coupled with his quick and accurate diagnosis, prevented a major headache. There's something particularly unsettling about facing a problem you can't see, like an underground leak. Dylan's skill and reassuring demeanor were a lifesaver! He was so kind, even with me hanging over his shoulder asking a bunch of questions and probably being a frantic crazy woman! Again, thank you so much!! (I tried to upload a video of the water bubbling from his tests but its not long enough for reviews?)
