Einstein Pros Plumbing
Review Summary
Overpriced estimates and fees, including a $150 estimate fee not disclosed beforehand, led to the job being rejected and completed elsewhere for significantly less. The technician traveled an hour, and the customer felt scammed, especially after discovering a charge for the estimate despite no work being done.

A trip charge of $30... Fine. No biggie. An Estimate fee of $150?? Not cool. This was never discussed before hand. The technician was knowledgeable enough, but then the estimate was so outrageous that my landlord nixed the job... also the tech had to come from an hour away! WHY? I thought this was a local shop... i would never have opted for him to come all this way, and then not do the job. My landlord called another professional and got the job done in two hours, next day, for about 60% LESS... the job ended up not being nearly the overblown thing it was made out to be. I felt pretty scammed, once I discovered the email this morning showing that my landlord had STILL been charged $180 for no work done, except looking at it for about 15-20 minutes. =( BOO!
