The Plumbing Works

After visiting Jerry's and Consolidated Supply, they referred me to Plumbing Works. Plumbing Works went above and beyond to identify the brand of an old trim piece. Rare to find such good customer service. These guys are great.

I hired Plumbing Works to fix a small leak from my toilet. I paid $320.00. I think they fixed the leak. Problem is that while fixing the leak they broke the toilet. The handle jiggles and will only flush about half of the time. If it does flush the toilet will run continuously for at least 5 minutes. This did not happen before they messed with my toilet. I tried all of the usual tricks to adjust the handle and stop the running with no luck. When I very politely asked them to return and fix what they broke they rudely told me to go buy the parts and fix it myself or just buy a new toilet. They were rude, unprofessional and poorly trained. Now I’m stuck paying someone else to fix what they broke.

I've tried others. Never calling any other business but this one. The Plumbing Works staff is friendly, professional and excellent with repair and replacements. We had them fix something that quite a few others had been in to fix and it was still leaking and problematic. Now the washing machine drains perfectly. Don't go elsewhere. Seriously.

Ive been in the plumbing industry for 20 years, Doug and doug jr are very knowledgeable and reliable. They have gone above and beyond for many years, to help me find old and unique parts that are tough to find. I highly recommend them for all you parts needs.

Jim from the Plumbing Works just finished resolving a long term leakage problem under our kitchen sink that has been causing issues including objectionable smells and standing water. Doug came to our home this morning to unclog our drain and we are so grateful! I have used The Plumbing Works for most of my plumbing jobs since 1991. Never had to call them to repeat a job. Always polite. They work clean without leaving a mess. Payments by check or credit card have all cleared without problem. Each appointment has been kept as promised. Only times I have not used them are when they were scheduled out for many months due to a hard long freeze here in Eugene so many businesses and homes had scheduled repairs. Another time the required installation was not one they had staff to complete. Billings have been as estimated except when obvious old plumbing pipes were corroded badly needing more work inside walls than originally expected. I run a foster home for disabled adults so it is possible I used a plumber a bit more often than most due to poor decisions by brains that are less than optimal. First three installs in 1992 were pressure balanced shower valves to prevent repeated on off faucet play from freezing then scalding people during showers. An excellent upgrade if I might recommend anything.

Remove the tub and tile putting in a walk-in shower.. been using Chapman plumbing for many a year...
