I reached out to City Plumbing for a new hot water heater on fairly short notice during the holidays and they delivered. The Joes on the service team were fast, knowledgeable, and thorough. They showed up first thing in the morning and were out of there before I finished my coffee. I’ve always trusted City Plumbing for their quality work and fair pricing and will continue to do so!

This is the second time I’ve used City Plumbing. First time was emergency furnace repair and response to my call was immediate. This time (Nov 2024) need to have bathroom sink removed and new one installed. Mike was very capable and easy to talk to. He laid out my options honestly and clearly and picked up the new sink and fixtures. I was happy with both service calls and the office staff is very helpful as well. Thanks to Mike for going the extra mile.

4 stars due to whoever was working the phones. 5 stars for the work Mike did! Overall I’m pleased with City Plumbing, despite having to push back my original date of service. I was booked for a Monday morning, but ended up having to reschedule for Tuesday morning due to their tech “being very busy” on Monday morning. Which to me sounds like an over booking issue on their end. The person I spoke with on the phone when having to reschedule was rather rude, which is honestly why I had to give only 4 stars. I can understand things happen and I can be flexible, but I didn’t appreciate being made to feel like I was at fault for the overbooking issue. It’s ridiculous to get upset at me for having other things planned after my appointment window. I was definitely frustrated at that point, but Mike’s service turned my opinion around!! He called me to let me know he would be there in the next 15 minutes. Once he arrived, he quickly assessed the issue, and got to work. What I found the most refreshing about Mike was the fact that he listened to me. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a woman or what, but I had had two other plumbers come in for the same problem who refused to listen to me when I tried to explain and were then unable to fix the issue. Not Mike!!! He listened and thanked me for helping him be able to quickly narrow down the issue. Mike was prompt, professional, and efficient! Once he was done, he explained the issue in a way that allowed me to fully understand. He also cleaned up after himself spotlessly! The only evidence he had been there was my working sink!! Very highly recommend City Plumbing! Phone triage was super responsive and polite. They assured me I would have someone out same-day to replace a leaking toilet tank. Appreciated the transparent pricing up-front. Within a few hours, Mike called to confirm his arrival time before coming out. Mike completed the job professionally with ease and efficiency; explaining the repair and asked if I had questions or concerns throughout the process. He was fantastic - overall very satisfied with the new toilet and the service Mike and City Plumbing provided.

Mike did an outstanding job with the plumbing in the home. He was very careful when cutting into the walls, ensuring there was no damage and that it looked good when put back. Throughout the process, he was considerate of the space and left everything clean. All the plumbing issues were resolved quickly and professionally. Highly recommend Mike for anyone in need of a skilled and reliable plumber!

I recently had added a new gas range to my home, shortly after the install, I began to smell the faintest bit of gas, almost each time I passed the kitchen. I was the only one in my family to smell it, but thought better safe than sorry. So I reached out to City Plumbing, Mike was assigned to the job. Initially he did not smell the gas , but once he moved the oven he caught a whiff of it. He went to work, and quickly found the source of the leak and addressed it. He was extremely pleasant and professional, he got the job done within 30mins. I waited a couple of days and I no longer smell the gas odor, and can rest assured that my family is safe, thanks to Mike, Ryan and the team at City Plumbing. They have always done an excellent job for me, they are always my first call when I have any plumbing and now gas issues. Greg

Contacted City Plumbing to evaluate some water damage in our ceiling. Had a plumber (Mike, highly recommend!) at our home in less than 48 hours, great communication day-of regarding timing, and provided efficient and transparent pricing. Luckily we didn’t need a huge repair, and I felt like I was dealt with honestly and fairly. Will definitely use again!

City Plumbing is the best in Philly! They are always so responsive and fast! Mike replaced a broken pipe quickly and explained everything in a way that I could understand. He answered all of my questions and gave preventive recommendations for the future. I have no hesitations referring City Plumbing for all HVAC and plumbing needs!
