G.J. Stimmler & Sons Plumbing & Heating

Just had my +10 year old water heater replaced this past Friday by G.J. Stimmler and could not be more pleased with their work. It was an upgrade from a 50 gallon to 65 so required some plumbing and piping work, all of which was done neatly and they were in and out in around 3 hours. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

They just came out to fix an old metal pipe in the basement (by chopping out the gross bit and splicing in new pipe) and they were done very quickly and came in less than the quote I was given. Everyone I spoke to at the company was very nice and treated my like an actual person (read: answered my actual questions and didn't try to catastrophize things to upsell me like several other people I spoke to). I'll definitely call them again if I need plumbing work done.

Nothing but wonderful things to say about their staff. They've replaced our hot water heater, two toilets, and fixed a clogged garbage disposal. Scheduling is easy and they don't make you wait days for someone to come out to your home. Their staff is always on time, kind, respectful and they take the time to answer questions from homeowners. We're so grateful to have them in the neighborhood!

I called with an emergency hot water heater issue. Owner came within 10 mins of calling and was able to pick up a new one right away. His daughter and another employee came within 30 minutes of the owner and removed the old one and installed the new hot water heater immediately. They were very friendly and helpful.

Finally found a company I can trust - Andrew and his lovely wife were so nice and efficient! Solved my toilet leak in a jif! I will use them for all plumbing, HVAC and heating going forward!

I have used Andrew and crew twice — the first time they came out in the middle of a snow storm (in Manayunk no less) to help with a pilot light / furnace issue at one of my rentals. They were the only ones on the road and every part of that stressful experience was made 100x’s better working with them. The second time they came out was to replace two water heaters, which were quoted at a very fair price. They were able to come out and get the job done quickly with minimal disruption. Communication was on point from start to finish. Dawn, in the office, is a wonderful first impression and very nice to work with and Andrew is super patient and helpful when it comes to understanding the work. They also gave me an accurate time of arrival which is very helpful when coordinating with tenants. I will absolutely be using their services again when the time comes. Thanks guys!
