UPDATE: While the technicians were here doing my prepaid biannual service, they recommended a new filter. “Yes, please!” I said. I immediately paid for ~ $150 for a new filter; I was told I would be contacted the next day & someone would be out to install it, as they didn’t have one in the truck. No problem! Over a week passed & I heard nothing. When I called the company, they sent someone right out to replace the filter, but prior to the time I said I’d be available. When my husband looked at the unit later, the entire side panel was just left off, sitting on our dryer, hot air blowing out into the basement! We are NOT demanding people, but between these two issues, we’ll look elsewhere for our future HVAC service. Buyer beware - I can no longer recommend. Unacceptable. We’ve used Calfo for all of our HVAC & plumbing needs since we purchased our home, & are always satisfied. Technicians are always courteous, professional, & efficient - Ryan & Mason were great today. The only reason for 5 stars was the plumber. He was fantastic and fixed my issues very efficiently and was very nice. I understand the day I called there were a ton of emergencies, was told 6 to 8 they came at 10:40 but at least the came. I called that Friday to make an appointment and it was not scheduled right buy they were courteous and cooperative and got me scheduled and repaired. Would definitely call them again!! I truly appreciate the help and work they put in. Thank you Calfo!!!

Furnace replacement both techs very professional. Left everything clean and functional hauled away all the old pieces. Would use this company again and will let all my friends know, thank you for a job well done!

Please beware of this company. Their well trained serviceman told me I needed a new furnace due to the expense of a new heat exchanger. I signed the order on a cellphone. After a reviewing the costs, I had another repairman come. He said the heat exchanger is under warranty. I canceled Caflo two hours after I signed the invoice. To make a long story short, they are hitting me with a $5,200 restocking fee that was not clearly visible on the phone image I signed. In addition there is no make or model number of the new equipment on the invoice. Note, that I had added an air conditioner and water heater to the original order and the price was close to $17,000.

This is how they left my daughters bookshelf. After destroying it. They made zero freaking attempt to do any kind of finish work. Left extremely sharp sheet metal exposed, not to mention and absolutely horrible job... this isn't even rookie work, it's pure ignorance and lazyness.

Hired this company based on the good google reviews and had a terrible experience with them. I tried to handle my dissatisfaction privately with them over the past couple of months by calling and emailing to ask for a reasonable resolution and have just been given a run-around each time and have been ignored over and over by the owner, so I unfortunately need to leave a review. I initially called them mid-December to clear a backed-up sewer line in my garage. The technician had me sign up for their membership and charged me for a snaking service, which ultimately did not work, not a big problem - he tried and I understand. He then talked me into agreeing to a high-powered hydro jet service, assuring me it would clear the blockage for around $2,000. I want to be clear that I was very much on the fence about the service, because of the cost, but he assured me that it would work, which is what made the sale. He also gave me an estimate which stated that the cost was for restoring service to the sewer line, which gave me a little more confidence to go ahead with the service, after seeing it on the estimate in black and white and not just verbally from him. A team of technicians showed up to perform the hydro jet service. They failed to clear the line and, in the process, also tore out part of my basement wall and ceiling and flooded my garage with sewage. They argued with my family member the whole time about which direction the sewer line went on my property (turns out my family member was right all along). Despite failing to restore service as promised, they still charged me the full amount for the hydro jetting and left without fixing any of the destruction they caused. The estimate that they gave me for the jetter service said that the cost was for "restoring full service to the lateral." They did not do that and I was still charged the full amount. Come to find out the rude technician that was managing the jetter job, was actually the owner. The other techs were nice and I can't fault them for listening to their boss's incorrect instructions. They didn't offer to put the wall or ceiling back together. They didn't even offer to help with the sewage mess that they made in the garage. My 65 year old father and I had to run around cleaning up the mess after they left. In the end, I had to hire someone else to fix the problem. I understand that things don't go according to plan but I tried repeatedly to contact the company for a reasonable resolution because I really believe that they were in the wrong here with how it was handled and how I was fully charged, but the owner, Tim, never returns my calls or emails. I made it very clear to them that I'm not even asking for a full refund, I just want him to hear me out and would like him to consider refunding some money back since what was on his estimate was not delivered. After being ignored, I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company and am considering taking them to small claims court because they really shouldn't get away with treating customers like this. It's such an unfortunate waste of time that could have been avoided but I really feel like I have been DUPED by the company owner and don't want that to happen to anyone else. This company made false promises, failed to deliver, caused property damage, and refused to take responsibility. Save yourself the headache and find another plumber. This has unfortunately left me feeling swindled and they left me with even bigger problems than when they showed up. ( I see that they normally reply to negative reviews saying to give them a call to resolve. I have called many times and been assured that Tim would call me back and still no call from Tim or any resolution )

I am very, very happy with my experience with CALFO. Ryan was very professional and definitely knew what he was doing. My furnace has been working wonderful since he put the new part in. I will definitely call them in the future. I will ask for Ryan again. I am very satisfied.
