I can not express how extremely Happy we chose GI Plumbing! My Mother had just lost her husband and I was aware of several plumbing issues inside the home that were completed by friends that were not up to code. I flew in from Florida to arrange a True Professional company to come in and fix many issues within the home. There was only ONE choice after checking references and other customer reviews for the Bethel Park area. They came out the same day I called and provided a time frame and arrived when they said they would. They also promised a date for all of the work to be completed on, which by the way was within a few days. Our Technician BRAD and his assistant arrived PROMPTLY, on the said date and completed all repairs in a timely manor. They were Extremely professional and courteous going ABOVE & BEYOND!!! My Mother was extremely happy now that she didn't have to worry about Anything plumbing related!! She will call GI Plumbing in the future for ANY/ALL needs. I feel so lucky to have found these wonderful people so close to her home and can now go back home to Florida knowing she will not have any problems. Thank you AGAIN BRAD & T.J for everything!!!!

We have had G.I. Plumbing come to our house for two separate issues. Each time the plumber who came out was punctual, kind, knowledgeable, and took their time explaining what needed to be done. Joe specifically has been to our house for both jobs and is a wonderful, trustworthy person to work with. When we first bought our house, I had a mile long list of projects I wanted to do and he helped me put together different packages of my âhave to doâ vs âwant to doâ lists so we could look at our budget and decide what we wanted to do before calling them back to schedule with no pressure to do everything. Their customer service is excellent, and we even received a hand written âthank youâ card for trusting them with our tankless water heater installation. I would recommend G.I. Plumbing to anyone and we will continue to call them any time we need a plumber in the future!

G.I. Plumbing has a flat-rate pricing model, which means that no matter how big or small the job is, you pay the same price. Whether it takes 30 minutes, one hour, two hours, or six hoursâ**you are charged the full flat rate. In my case, I needed a cast iron flange replaced with PVC, and the job took less than two hoursâyet they still charged me $1,200. It didnât matter that it was a simple, straightforward job. Even if it had taken them just 30 minutes, I still would have been charged $1,200. Likewise, if the job had been more complicated and actually taken six hours, I still would have paid $1,200. This pricing model does not benefit the customerâit only benefits them. Instead of paying for the actual labor and materials required for your specific job, youâre paying a fixed, inflated rate no matter what. That being said, their customer service was very responsive. When I emailed questioning the price, they called me quickly, explained their pricing model, and lowered the cost from $1,200 to $1,000. I appreciated their willingness to adjust the price, but even at $1,000, it was still far too high for a job that took less than two hours. Whatâs even more frustrating is that if I had needed them to install a brand-new toilet, the total would have been $1,800. That means they were charging $1,200 for the flange replacement that took 2 hours and an additional $600 just to install the toiletâa job that takes 30 minutes or less. If theyâre charging $1,200 for up to six hours of work, why isnât installing the toilet included in that time? Instead, they treat adding a toilet as a completely separate charge, requiring another flat-rate fee, even though it barely adds to the work. We have three small children and are experiencing unfortunate health issues in our family, so we didnât have time to shop around. We were stuck and needed our toilet to work. Unfortunately, that left us paying a rigid and overpriced flat-rate fee that does not reflect the actual time and effort required for the job. And to be clearâthis has nothing to do with our budget. Iâve seen how this company responds to negative reviews, implying that customers are upset because they canât afford the service. That is absolutely not the case here. Just because someone can afford something doesnât mean itâs fair to be charged an outrageous price. This is about principle, not affordability. It is wrong to take advantage of customers just because theyâre in a situation where they need the job done quickly. If youâre considering hiring G.I. Plumbing, ask for a full breakdown of their pricing upfront. Otherwise, you might end up paying six hoursâ worth of labor for a two-hour jobâor even a 30-minute jobâand then getting charged even more for something that should already be included. Their work is solid, and their customer service is responsive, but their pricing practices are unreasonable and take advantage of customers. I wouldnât use them again, and I strongly encourage others to look elsewhere unless theyâre comfortable being significantly overcharged for standard plumbing work.

Dom, Adam, Jason and Victoria all provided excellent customer service. They were able to replace my broken water heater within 24 hours. The work is good. They were patient with my questions. I had a follow up question the next day and they responded within an hour! The customer experience portal was easy to use and provided good information including where my technician was, arrival time, and invoices.

Booking an appointment was easy and they were able to send someone over the very next day. Mike did a great job installing a new garbage disposal for us after our sink had been leaking. He was friendly, thorough and quick. Will definitely use GI in the future for any plumbing needs.

I needed a warranty replacement for a water heater. Jason and Jacob helped me submit my claim. They did everything they say on service and time of appointment. The service installer was on time and polite. He explained everything that he was going to do With us being seniors they really cared about us. Call them with total confidence. 5 star company.
