Mertz Plumbing & Heating

I discovered a leaky supply pipe to my water heater and called Mertz plumbing. I live down the street from them and they offered to come out and see if it could wait until the next day. They were here within 30 minutes and had replaced the section of bad piping within 90 min. Also had them fix my leaky toilet while here. Just outstanding service.

I scheduled with Mertz to have a toilet reinstalled. It wasn't a straight forward job because of the condition of the floor, which was uneven. The team, Dan & Heather, arrived early and had the job done in 45 minutes, even though additional drilling of the concrete floor had to be done. They were professional & the cleanup couldn't have been better. After having several bad experiences, I've found a "keeper" for my next plumbing job.

You Cannot Find a More Honest, Reasonably Priced Plumber! If you want folks who take care of your needs honestly and with great integrity, look no further. I would trust them with the keys to my house. They will do only what is necessary, charge you a fair and reasonable price, (much less than comparable plumbers) and come as quickly as possible. (Once we had a gushing leak and they came within 20 minutes!) They are a throwback to the "good old days" of small, family-owned businesses.

Called to set up an appointment, got one and the lady that helped me was nice. There was no issue with our location. Had to cancel due to a family medical issue. Called back to reschedule. I was met with a totally rude attitude from the female that answered the phone. She told me they didn't come out to our area. So... The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because of the first encounter. I called another plumber. Thanks to the call to reschedule, they lost a $700 call.

Great for any job you need, we've used them for plumbing and running a gas line for our grill. They are always friendly, a great price, came out quickly and cleaned up to the point that they put the rest of my just moved-in basement to shame. 😂

This is the first time that we needed a plumber at our current residence. Our sewage lines were backed up and raw sewage was overflowing in our basement and garage. We thought it was going to be the tree roots in our front yard that were blocking our sewage line. We called Mertz plumbing and they came out a couple of days later. We were expecting the cost to be at least $1500. They diagnosed the problem as a clogged sewage line trap and unclogged it in 20 minutes. They were very honest and did not charge any unnecessary work. The cost was only $150. We could not be any happier and we will be using Mertz plumbing from now on. Very trustworthy and efficient

Very quick and great service. They had everything they needed available on their truck. Came over and resolved several issues quickly and effectively. Very knowledgeable member of their team took great care of our house and belongings while performing their duties.
