For several months I noticed my water bill was higher than normal. At the recommendation of my plumber, I contacted American Leak Detection. They were able to schedule me just a few days after my call. The technician, Michael, was on-time, introduced himself and started to search for the look. It did take a little time as there is no magic to finding an underground leak. He marked the spot. The next day, the plumber arrived to make the repair. The leak was nearly 48" deep, and directly under a large piece of concrete debris. This made finding the leak more challenging, but Michael had marked the spot within 12". The leak was fixed and my water bill is back to normal. There was a small issue but after a short conversation with John, everything was quickly resolved. I recommend American Leak Detection should you ever find yourself in need of this service.

After receiving an unusually high water bill, our plumber recommended American Leak Detection to determine the location of the problem. I spoke with John in their office who was very professional and helpful and arranged for a technician to come. Shane was our technician and was very pleasant, informative and thorough. He did pinpoint our problem and marked it and documented it with pictures so that our plumber could address the issue. We were very pleased and appreciative for the service we received from the employees at American Leak Detection!

We had a slow leak in our vinyl liner. Spoke with Christy. She was very helpful, answered all questions and scheduled a technician for the next day. Jeff was phenomenal, very personable and extremely efficient. Great, pleasant guy to work with. Later when I received the invoice, John helped me on the phone, took my credit card info and all was processed in a jiffy. The best thing is my pool IS NOT LEAKING ANYMORE! They are fast, efficient and pleasant - what more could you ask for in this day and age!

Do not call this company for anything. Even if you can get them on the phone. No matter what Insurance says or your plumber. We had a spike in our water bill and found a wet spot on the slab outside of our bathroom window and warm flooring in the area. Figured we had a leak on our hot water side so we called a plumber to come out and he recommended this company to be sure we found where it is to reduce costs that may be associated with fixing the leak because it is a slab house. They took 3 days to even call back, then another week before they could send 2 guys out for 45 mins tops. They charged 500 dollars, marked a spot, took our check and disappeared. We busted up the slab in the spot they marked and there was no leak. After turning our entire bathroom into a pile of rubble we found the leak ourselves on a completely different water line. Called to ask for a refund because insurance said it was on these guys for screwing up and was promptly given the run around and cold shoulder until they finally told me they wouldn’t do a thing for me. So please spare yourself the trouble and do not deal with these people, and if you are forced to… definitely do not pay them upfront or sign anything. They will rob you of your money and give you the run around just like they did to many others in this review section that I wish I had checked before making the call myself.

Help me understand why your company employs drivers that are putting others at danger with hazardous driving in rainy conditions?! Pretty dumb to drive like a moron with a company name on your truck.

Great experience from the office folks to the techs on the ground! I highly recommend if you're in a rural setting with long distance between meter and house.
