Bellevue Best - Shiver Plumbing !

BEWARE!! He came by on Tuesday to give us an estimate, we scheduled with him for Thursday. After talking to our gas company they told us it seemed high so we got a second opinion same day. Wednesday morning we called to cancel and he was incredibly rude. Thursday came and he still showed up and said we needed to pay for parts and sent us a receipt from Home Depot for $186 ( he charged $1000) , we told him we had cancelled and he came to our door and started screaming and cussing at my mom she backed away scared and closed the door. He then took the “materials” and set them on the driveway and said he wasn’t leaving until we paid him. We called the police and he finally left a couple minutes before the police got there. They would’ve arrested him for trespassing had he not left. The whole experience was terrifying for my mom being home alone and having this aggressive man come at her screaming. We never got a formal estimate, we never signed a contract and we cancelled less than 12 hours after him coming by and he still showed up demanding to get paid. Completely deranged and unprofessional.

So John installed all of our products I am showing you a little over a year ago. We bought our house Sept 6 of 2016. It was built in 2005 as a spec house in a historic neighborhood. As with a lot of spec homes what looks good on the surface is not always what lies below. John fixed what was wrong with our home to make it livable for us. I am ;posting this today because I needed help with changing the 5 stage water filtration system cartridges, he came same day & helped me out. THAT IS SERVICE!!!

John was very responsive and gave great explanations for the plumbing issues we were experiencing and the repairs he made. He was knowledgeable, efficient and had very reasonable pricing. With unfortunately not having the greatest experiences with other local plumbers in the past, John was truly a breath of fresh air and a pleasure to do business with. Would highly recommend!

Moved to Nashville recently and had a clog in my kitchen drain. I am really glad I came across John - he was great, and I will not hesitate to call him in the future if I have plumbing issues. He was able to schedule an appointment very promptly and was able to fix the drain issue very quickly. He was great at explaining the issue and how to prevent it in the future - he clearly takes his craft seriously and is very knowledgeable. During the process he also provided general tips about drains and drainage and ended up helping us get parts for and install a mixing valve to solve an issue we were having getting hot water more quickly circulated to the bathrooms in the back of our house (our water heater is in the front of the house). It is a game changer. Highly recommend!

I like doing business with the vendors who don't use or need TV commercials or big shiny trucks. After searching the web, reviews, and websites for plumbers in my part of Nashville, I decided to take the chance on using John to fix the broken fitting around my water pressure booster. John was able to come out quickly and repair the fittings around my water pressure booster once he made a run to the parts supply house to get unique fixtures needed for my repair. I am glad I found John and will continue to use him for my plumbing needs. Based on the time he spent with me, the repair, and getting the special parts, I feel I was charged a fair price for his services. Support your local small businesses. I am glad I did.

I highly recommend John! He was quick to schedule with me and he was at my house exactly when he said he'd be (which I really appreciate, I have had 5 local highly-rated repair people flake or cancel last minute, and it was super frustrating, this was not the case with John at all). He took care of the clog in my bathroom sink and even offered to replace the pipes below the sink with PVC, which will last longer. He had all of the replacement parts already and completed the replacement the same day! He was very friendly and gave me additional information for how to properly care for the pipes and drains in my older house to prevent issues in the future. Thank you John!

John was very knowledgeable about the condos in my area (River Plantation). I was purchasing a home and needed a plumber to assess the plumbing issues that appeared in the inspection. John was sensitive to my timeframe and did a thorough assessment. He provided a detailed explanation of the issues and my options. After closing karma he quickly repaired all of the issues.
