Thorough Plumbing

I finally have found a plumber I can trust and who also has good pricing. Ben replaced my two gas water heaters as well as replacing water cut off valves for my washing machine. I had gotten quotes from other brand name plumbing companies when one of my friends recommended Ben from Thorough Plumbing. Ben beat them on pricing and did not try to "sell" me on other things that the other companies did. He was responsive on scheduling and was easy to work with. I was not home during the final work and he was able to explain everything clearly to my wife which I greatly appreciate. He is just a good guy in general. I HIGHLY recommend Ben and Thorough Plumbing!

Jeff replaced a hot water slab pipe for me about 2 years ago and did what I would call a detailed repair that completely solved the problem. By bypassing the existing line that was leaking, it saved time and money and that was very appreciated. Then, recently, in February 2025, I developed a leak in the closet that houses the water heater. I thought that it might have been the replaced pipe that Jeff put in. We talked on the phone and each of us thought it was unlikely that it was the new pipe as he uses a State of the Art pipe that is very tough to penetrate. He changed his next day plans so he could come right out and take a look. It turns out the leak was right next to his replaced pipe in a 33 year old copper 90 degree. No surprise that it had given way. He put in some new copper parts for me and was done quickly. We even had time for some small talk since his work was done so efficiently with his female partner Shanna. I'd call Shanna invaluable since she handles all the support work while Jeff is completing his repairs. I observed her fielding phone calls, text messages, moving their great looking repair van when necessary, answering questions, retrieving tools and parts, etc. Not unlike an Operating Room nurse, I bet he couldn't do without her. You can be certain that Jeff and Shanna will find and fix your plumbing problems in a most efficient and splendid way. 5 Stars out of 5. David Howard

Jeff thoroughly explained the root cause and provided detailed guidance on how to avoid similar issues in the future. He was clear and upfront about the pricing. I had rodent damage to a water line to one of my bathrooms. There was no sound of water, but there was water weeping from under my front porch brick. I called Thorough plumbing and Jeff came quickly. He did some detective work and was able to isolate the leak and repair the water line. Jeff was very THOROUGH!!! (pun intended), knowledgeable, shared great tips! Now 3-5 days of drying and drywall repair! It is a good and secure feeling knowing Thorough plumbing is my plumber!!

I recently had to replace the cast iron pipes under my home with PVC because the toilets were backing up into their adjacent showers. I selected Thorough Plumbing to do the work. I asked several companies for an estimate of the work and his was the most detailed with the work clearly defined and a dollar figure assigned to each piece of the job. And, Mr. Baty offers flexible financing options. I looked into Pipe Relining as an option for solving my problem but just looking at the photos that were taken of the inside of the pipes, it was clear that they were not in good enough shape. Besides, I only wanted to deal with this plumbing issue once, and Mr. Baty's experience and excellent references/reviews convinced me that I wanted to hire his company to do the job. The team at Thorough Plumbing are knowledgeable professionals and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for all your plumbing needs.

Ben did a great job of explaining the options for completing the fixes we needed and getting them done. The price was reasonable and much less than two bigger companies quoted.

Jeff was very nice and knowledgeable. I called him out to look at my water, and it turned out to be a simple end-user issue—something so easy. I’m not sure how I missed it, but since it’s a new house for me, maybe that’s why. There was no fee, which was awesome! I’ll definitely call him back if I ever have any plumbing issues.
