My 20-year-old tankless water heater started delivering hot water with sporadic gaps of cold water. I contacted Abacus using their online service request site. Within the day I was scheduled for a visit by a technician in the following week. The technician gave me status updates about his time of arrival and he arrived on time. He was polite and very knowledgeable and gave me options for troubleshooting, repair, or replacement. Due to the age of my heater, I opted to have it replaced and he scheduled installation for two days later. The installers arrived on time. They also were very polite and respectful of my house and within 3 hours had removed and replaced the heater. They installed it according to code. Everything works perfectly and I am very happy the entire process.

We had an excellent experience with Abacus. Aaron installed a light fixture and dimmer in the foyer of our home, and the result is absolutely stunning. He was professional, punctual, and highly skilled. He paid attention to every detail, ensuring everything was installed perfectly. The dimmer adds the perfect ambiance, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Highly recommend him for any electrical work—thank you for enhancing our home!

Aaron and Josiah were great. I wanted to replace two outside lights and two outdoor patio fans. They came, gave me a quote and then did the work the next day. It was great service at a reasonable price. If I need any additional electrical work I will definitely call Abacus.

I had a disappointing experience with Abacus. I called them to inspect a backed-up drain line and paid $400 for a hydro jetting service to clean it out. However, just a few days later, I decided to put a camera down the drain myself and discovered that it was still completely clogged. When I contacted Abacus to follow up, they refused to come back and address the issue. It seems this company doesn’t specialize in plumbing, but rather focuses on high-pressure sales. I would not recommend their services based on my experience.

I needed a second opinion on a plumbing issue, and this company delivered with impressive speed and professionalism. They arrived the same day I inquired and confirmed the initial diagnosis provided by another company. The plumber (Jason) was not only knowledgeable but also friendly, providing a detailed explanation and a competitive bid for the repair. I truly appreciated their honesty and transparency. Based on this experience, I’m likely to use their services in the future.

I had an issue with my bathtub faucet leaking so I made an online appointment with Abacus. First time customer; had never used them before. The online appointment process went super smooth. I received updates by the company as well as the technician upon arrival. Alex, the tech that was dispatched to my residence, did an amazing job! He arrived on time, diagnosed the issue quickly, and thoroughly explained the process. He gave me a couple of quotes and options to choose from. He is very courteous, detailed, and his work is impeccable! Thank you very much to everyone at Abacus! I'll definitely be using their services in the future.

I love Abacus. They can usually make it out the same day and they’re so nice! They always teach me about what they’re doing. Tony was great and fast! He was so sweet to my senior dog as she followed him around. Thankful to have found Abacus!

I was charged $398 to just put a couple screws in my hot water heater. Turned down Abacus’s other $400 quote for flushing my hot water heater. I sent them an email and a text prior to the appointment trying to understand how & when I'd receive pricing information based on the narrated video they requested. Never received a response. Would not recommend this company. Wish they had more honest pricing. [EDIT] Not sure why they responded positively to this review -- I will not be using them again
