We needed to replace our kitchen faucet, and I wanted to replace the corresponding shutoff valves at the same time, so I searched online for a plumber, but I wanted an independent small business, and not one of the big name companies. I found a winner with Al Mac Plumbing. Alex was prompt, provided a fair price after looking over the situation, but before beginning work, and cleaned the work area upon completion. Alex is about the best person you could find to help solve a complicated problem. He understands old houses and the challenges they pose, and thinks creatively to get things fixed. We had a gas fireplace issue and he went above and beyond to get it working safely and efficiently. He is thoughtful and makes sure that he's figured out every step of the plan and done the legwork before getting started. We were lucky to find him and will use him for all our plumbing issues!

Alex from Al Mac Plumbing & gas replaced the hardware for 4 bathroom faucets & cleaned our gas stovetop burners & assembly. He was able to come out the day after I called, and communicated throughout the process as well as provided recommendations & education for ongoing maintenance for the newly replaced items. Al was so great! He was able to come out same day and right then and there relocated my gas line necessary for new range and cabinets to be installed. He had everything thing he needed right in the truck, no running back and forth to shop or supply house. Fantastic job! I will call them for any plumbing or gas need.
