Rare Breed Plumbing (fka Lundberg Plumbing)

Calling a plumber is not a favorite activity of mine - especially not since I had another plumber at my home twice in the same three week period - paid their bill - and thought the problem was resolved. NOT. This time, after reading reviews and such on Connect Utah, I thought I'd give Rare Breed a call. They made it up to Park City when they said they would and delivered bad news...and the reasons why the other plumber couldn't fix the issue: Massive grease clog not only 18' down, but also 25' down, viewable by cameras. Told us it was years in the making - as we haven't tossed anything in the disposal for at least eight years. And even explained why what the other plumber did wasn't working - poking a tiny hole at 18' would just close up again. Oy. Not a way to spend a New Year's Eve. Dom and Thor ran cameras and cables, used snakes and whatever else - and voila - showed us that our kitchen sink pipes were cleared, dishes could be washed, and we would no longer hear the gurgle and spit up that we heard daily (okay if from a grand baby, but not from a sink!)

Contacted after another plumber did the minimum. We ended up having a huge problem not just something small. Court got someone out to us fast. Dan was great to work with and communicate with, got back to me quickly. Techs were fabulous. Every person explained and was more than willing to educate when I asked questions. Communication was great. Financing was easy. They nicked a water line, replaced it no charge. Dug a portion up again to make sure the job was done right, 10 year guarantee! Super impressed. Made a very stressful thing easy to work through with their help. Will call again 100% for any needs. Even answered questions promptly a couple times late/on a weekend. So thankful for them. I am absolutely blown away by the service that I have received from Rare Breed Plumbing. From the initial assessment and estimate to final repair. Everyone in the company was cordial and professional. If I could give them extra stars, I would. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

Miguel was the best! I was sad not to have Court coming out because he has done AMAZING work for us! But he has created an amazing business! Very trusted. Came in, and got the job done VERY FAST! No problems at all. Even went above and beyond and cleaned the area around our new water heater! He put a cover on our stairs so as not to damage them. We were treated so well.

These guys were incredible. Josiah and Ricky were such hard workers, so friendly, fast, reliable and trustworthy! We were able to get a quote within a day to fix our sewer line and they were much cheaper than the first company that quoted us! It was a super difficult repair and they took the utmost care not to damage our landscaping. They put everything back better than they found it. 100% recommend.

It’s rare (no pun intended) to find a company whose actions back-up their claim that customer relationships are important to them. I had a small miscommunication with Rare Breed administration & reached out to Dan about it. He quickly replied, apologized for the miscommunication and said he would look into it. The next day, today, Dan stopped by, shared how they were fixing the mixup and to check that my relationship with Rare Breed Plumbing is good - It is. Based upon my experience working with Rare Breed on multiple projects, when they say they care about getting the work done right and building a relationship with their customers, they mean it. I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for a competent and friendly plumbing company. I continue to be impressed by the crew at Rare Breed Plumbing. Today Miguel & Carson were in my home to install a dishwasher. They listened to my questions, got the answers & did a fantastic job. I was comfortable having Miguel & Carson in my home and would happily work with them again.

I recently called Rare Breed Plumbing to help with an issue with the pump that works with the drain in our driveway. They came out quickly to diagnose the problem. They came back a day later to install the pump. It turned out not to be as straightforward as we hoped. They diagnosed an electrical issue and then finished the pump install. I was very happy with the work they did and felt the price was fair. I will call them again without hesitation.
