They’re here for literally 10 minutes to fix something that wasn’t done right to begin with and they charge an extra $195. They think if you live in Old Town they can gauge you because you must be rich. We’ve been customers for years. Not anymore. Customer service is seriously going down hill these days. And this was after I called the first time they came because they over inflated their labor time. On a positive note, furnace seems to be purring like a kitten. Merry Christmas!

I would like to give a Shout Out to the very fine technician from TJ Fannon who came to our home on Fairview Drive this week. He was able to solve an issue with our very old cast iron radiators. Seems TJFannon is one of the few companies left who service radiators. He fixed the problem by getting up in our attic and bleeding lots of air and water from the system. Thank you So Much!

Terrible customer service. Hired a team to come out and fix our wall AC unit this summer in our guest room as it was leaking all over the carpet. They came out, we paid $700+, it seemed to be working fine. We just had guests come into town again recently and used it and it started leaking again all over our carpet. Called them for assistance and in order for the team to come back out we have to pay them again since it has been over 30 days. Awful service when the problem was not fully fixed and we are just now using it again. Will 100% never use them again or recommend them to friends. If we have to pay again I will be finding a new service that values the work they’ve done enough to guarantee it and assist if further issues arise.

I just wanted to share an experience we had with TJ Fannon last week. Late one evening we noticed that the blower for the air conditioning was not working. early the next morning I called for a service appointment. Since it was the middle of August I expected that, at best, they might make it out later that day. They were at my house by 8:30 AM, WOW!. They verified that the blower needed to be replaced but doubted they had one in stock but they would double check. They had one in stock and were back to my house and had it installed by 12 noon. Amazing! We have been Fannon customers for over 40 years and have never been disappointed. Also, if you have a boiler system for heating like many of the homes is Old Town, Rosemont, Del Ray and Arlington I would trust no one but TJ Fannon, they have been working with boilers for over a hundred and twenty years so they have a huge amount of institutional knowledge about them. Most HVAC companies have very little experience with boilers and don't really want to work on them.

Love the boss or owner Mr. Thomas J. Fannon who always carried a calm, patient, professional and honest manner when answered you as a potential client. Was and am, really impressed by our conversation each time with him. That's why after a few years, still remember him due to the great impression reflected by him over the phone! Wish doing business with him, if any possibilities. (The owner/ the father was nice but not their non responses 4 times, not their yelling & jumpy & hunging up on you 3 times by a woman, not their greedy charges on the 2nd time... Downgrade from original 5* from last August, 2023 to 3* now at 10:18a, Sunday 12.22.2024. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year anyhow)

With first abrupt cold spell our Carrier Infinity went down. TJ Fannon provided same day troubleshooting and were able to get replacement parts within a couple days when other companies said it could take over a month and instead tried to sell a new unit. TJ Fannon only charges what they must - very honest people, very technically proficient, very responsive, smaller local business.

Fannon is terrific! I called them on a Friday morning of the hottest week of the year around here because my AC stopped cooling the night before, and the temp inside my house was 85 degrees. Even though they were swamped with work orders, two workmen were able to come by and very quickly replace a part on the compressor that had ceased to work. And they swung by early, too! My AC was up & running in no time flat, thanks to them. Fannon does it again! Yesterday my furnace seemed to be running, but the gas just would not kick in. And we were heading for a very cold night here. I gave them a call, and they were just outstanding. The repairman came right by, and had me up and running in no time. I appreciated that to no end!
