Forest Septic renewed my faith that there are still friendly, honest and trustworthy companies out there. Tammy was so nice and worked to get us taken care of in a time crunch. Forest explained the process and showed us that what first company said were issues that would cost us thousands, were not there. Do yourself a favor and call Forest Septic first to avoid the headaches and hassle we went through by not calling them first.

Experienced, trustworthy, high quality standards & honest, family-owned & operated company. I highly recommend. We needed an old septic tank located before a new ac/heating unit could be installed in the same area. Forrest quickly located & marked the old septic tank & also, coincidentally, quickly found & quickly corrected the fact that our current septic tank was backing up into our house, & was about to cause a big mess. I cannot express how grateful we are for his thorough assessment of our situation & the extra effort on his behalf and to make sure we were taken care of.

After having a poor experience with another company for our septic inspection when selling our house, we called Forrest for a second opinion. We were up against a tight closing schedule and needed immediate support to avoid having to pay the other company over $4000 for a flushing service I wanted to be sure was actually needed (but my gut told me was price gouging / taking advantage of fast paced housing market). From the moment I called them they were very attentive and responsive to our needs. They demonstrated a solid and comprehensive understanding of the tank systems, inspection / repair processes, and the soil condition of our location in comparison to others. They made it a priority to immediately schedule an inspection of our tank and were communicative and prompt the day of inspection. At no point did I feel like an afterthought or just another customer on their list. During and after the inspection they took time to clearly explain and converse about the results, and it was actual conversation - not just talking at us. Compared to the other company, Forrest inspected and provided results I felt were actually unique to our property and based on solid understanding of our system. Throughout the process we spoke to multiple members of the Forrest Septic family, as our letter had to be expedited to support closing. In each conversation it was personal and we felt like they actually cared about the situation we were in. In the end, Forrest helped us literally save thousands of dollars and close the last step to selling our house, which was really big for us. I cannot say enough good things about Forrest Septic! After a questionable septic inspection from another company that was based on guesswork, we were told to only trust Forrest. They immediately put me at ease saying that they wanted to do what they could to save our system instead of forcing us to spend $20-30k on a new one. They did a thorough check of the system and found the tank was fine (our inspection from the other company said it had maple tree roots in it which was completely false). The distribution box and header lines all needed to be replaced. Forrest jetted the system after finding a ton of sludge in it and now our system is working beautifully and should last us a good long time before we have to replace it. Not only did they do an amazing job repairing the system, they also took the time to put my yard back in better than they found it shape. Forrest is the ONLY septic company you should trust for your septic needs!!

Forrest did my septic inspection for a home I'm purchasing. He not only fit us in last minute but he went out of his way for my home that's pretty much in the middle of no where. He was much more reasonably priced than the other companies I received quotes from and didn't try to charge me for unnecessary things like everyone else. He was on time, honest, and my family overall had a great experience!

We purchased a house in the Hickory area of Chesapeake in November of 2019. A new septic tank was needed. We went under contract with Forrest Septic for a new engineered Clearstream septic tanks system. We were told it was the rainy season and it would be until May of 2020 until new construction would start. That was fine and understandable. May came and went and now it is October of 2021 about two years after we went under contract. Every time we call the office we are told a different reason why there is a delay and that "It's normal to wait this long" and "Martin will call you". He never calls. The communication from the office is non existent. Not once in two years ( let that sink in with the reader ) has Forrest Septic called and said "Hey just giving you an update on your construction. There is a delay and construction will start...." Not a single time. We have had to call them...every...single..time. Do not use this company. I know that times are tough and getting good help is hard to acquire. But a simple phone call and basic customer service goes a long way.

Had an alarm going off on our septic tank that we didn’t know anything about. Called Forrest and within 20 minutes he was at our house assessing the situation. Fixed the alarm and was super friendly and professional. Would highly recommend this company to anyone!!
