Our technician was very knowledgeable and does clean work. He carried a positive attitude the entire morning. He didn’t receive all his parts for replacing our water heater, but got right on it to make it complete. I truly appreciate a knowledgeable worker. I will be using this company again for any plumbing work.

While I feel the plumbing job cost way too much money ($2,307.36 for an under sink pop up leak due to original crooked pipes underneath that were replaced along with the H/C valves, which required cutting into the drywall), I was quite pleased with the work plumber Phillip did in just under two hours on 10/11/24. I can recommend the 5 star, professional, knowledgeable, & personable plumber Phillip, but - because of the price of the job - cannot recommend 2 star Russell’s American Mechanical. As an aside, I’d purchased a whole home maintenance plan from this company on 3/18/24 and reportedly only saved $150 on this job.

Shayvon came out to the house from Russell's to do a once over of my system. He was on time, extremely polite and knew what he was talking about. I liked the video's he sent to me step by step explaining what I was looking at. I have had the "new" system for 4 years and it is easy to say he was the best tech they have send out.

All in all, the work that was done was great. A few reasons for 4/5 stars are, 1. They are kinda pricey, I wish I would've done a little more research, but, it is what it is. 2. All 3 appointments started between 1-2 hours late, not the worst thing in the world, just have a little extra time slotted for it. 3. You will have to "finish" your own drywall. They patch it, but not that great of a job. For the price and how often they have to patch holes in walls, I feel like it coulda been done a little better. Technicians were respectful to my house. "Fixed" anything they did. They did say I would have to sand and paint, just wasn't expecting a full extra job in doing that, I thought it would be just a little touch up.. Final thoughts tho, I am satisfied with the work completed. I had a dryer outlet replace from 3 to 4 prong, a GFCI box installed under my sink for the dishwasher and disposal, a line ran for a fan, and they installed the fan to include the switches for it.

Omar called ahead of our appointment to say when he would arrive? Omar definitely has a great attitude that reflects in his ability to speak with customers. He also was very knowledgeable of the process of duct y, which he professionally relayed to us. He was very helpful explaining the entire process for the duct cleaning and air scrubber. You should very proud of him for how he represents your company.

Cody did a good job on our routine maintenance. Very helpful explaining what was going on and what needed to be done. The only negative comment I would like to make is that they give you a 2.5 hour window of when they will arrive. My time is valuable too!!

I called to book an appt because our AC unit was not working properly and they came out the same day. The technician was very courteous and knowledgeable and let us know instead of spending money on parts for an over 20 year old HVAC unit it would be better to spend on new unit so we ended up getting a new unit installed the very next day and they were very efficient and in no time it was done. I would highly recommend them to anyone .

DISHONEST TECH —On Feb 26, 2025, Russell’s tech came to my home for routine maintenance of my HVAC system for which I signed up for the $200 annual service. He was very thorough and was at my home for over 3 hours. As his final item to check he asked me to come outside to the unit and said my compressor fan was not working. And he removed the fuses and I had no functioning system although prior to his visit I had no problem. He said a new fan was $1800 and I might consider getting a new system for $23,000. I am a 74 year old woman and decided first to have my son check it out. He found a wire unplugged and replugged it in and the system has been working fine ever since. I contacted the Russell’s manager and relayed my situation. She said they would retrain the tech - that’s all they were going to do.. He already has had years of experience. I said I wanted to cancel the service agreement. She said ok and that I would get $20 refunded. That was over two weeks ago. Nothing yet! I can’t help but wonder how many older women he’s duped!!!!! Beware!!
