I hired them to replace my sewer line. A month and a half later , my yard was still a slushie mess, there was a leak under the ground and come to find out they were 4 ft short of the City line, had left a four-piece section of terracotta . The city said they would not touch it till we finish running the rest of my line so I had to hire someone else to finish the job. A mass did come out to re-excavate that 4-ft area, so I give them the three stars for at least doing that.

If you’re reading this before you have A-MASS, Inc plumbing come to your house to “fix” your problem, get a new plumbing company. James started my plumbing job prior to October 30 and said everything he was going to do and made it sound great. From when he started to November 28, it was always an excuse on why he could not start the work and why it is taking so long. He will inform me that he will be at my house after 3pm and show up around 8pm and not really do anything to progress the work he started. After using all his trash bags for dirt, he filled my closet with it and I asked if he was going to clean it he informed me that he said in the beginning that this job was going to get dirty. He had his friends from another plumbing company show up to my house and work on my plumbing issue. I lost trust and had another plumbing company come out and informed me that he put the wrong pipe size, didn’t connect the ventilation for the pipe and just overall did a sloppy job. When I told James about what the other plumber said he got upset and rude. Told me that the other plumber can fix it then and left with my plumbing still not being fixed. I wish I can give this “company” less than a 1 star review. Don’t go with this company.

Absolutely do not use this company for any type of home repair. My warranty company sent him our 2 days before Christmas eve to repair my sewer line. He sent me pictures indicating the problem was fixed. This was obviously false because the next day the problem came back in full effect. On the 23rd he lied to me and the warranty company saying that he was coming back to rectify the issue. Of corse I found out he hadn't shown up when my tenants called to inform me there toilette were still not working. It wasn't until I reminded him Christmas was coming up and my tenant had poop coming up in there shower and also threatened to post a complaint with the warranty company that he said he would come back out. His word meant absolutely nothing because not only did he not show up. He never even called to say he wasn't coming back. Absolutely do not use this company for any services!!!!!!

James is the Best he repaired a busted pipe outside my home and with little to almost no inconvenience. The water was back on in no time definitely recommend him if you want it done professionally and in a timely manner. He didn't leave until the job was done. He had to break the ground from the side walk up to my front door and repaired it all. and not to mention he checks his work. Made sure everything was working properly by stopping by to inspect awsome job

A-Mass installed a bidet toilet with WiFi sensors and heated seat. They were professional and quietly interacted while programming the systems. After completing they cleaned the area of all trash and debris.

I was connected with A-mass thru home serve. I have a leak in my sewer line so there is sewer water pooling in my backyard, at the side of my house and in my crawlspace. And my house and yard smell horrible! Not to mention the health hazard! Amass came out while I was at work on Friday so I only communicated with a woman (I believe from homeserve, I'm not sure) after his initial visit. She told me that 20 feet of line needed to be replaced and they would start on Monday. Great!!! I took the whole day off work so I could take care of my dogs and make sure my son was able to access a bathroom. I'm assuming the water will be turned off so I spent Sunday prepping - washing dishes, washing clothes, filling up bottles of water for the dogs, etc. Sunday night I started wondering what time they were coming in the AM. I thought for sure there would be a text or an email. Nothing! I finally called Amass Monday morning and he didn't really give me a time he'll be here. It kinda felt like he was saying a lot but nothing at all. I have a few obstacles in the area of the sewer line so we discussed those things and his concerns but he never really said when he was coming. He did say that someone would come mark the gas line though. That person showed up in the early evening! No one else showed up on Monday to do any digging or anything further. While talking with Amass on Monday, I told him I'd be working Tuesday (today) but I'd be home around noon. Again, he said a lot but nothing but he did give me the impression they would be coming today to start something! And he said I didn't need to be home. I mean this is a big job! My huge HVAC system needs to be disconnected and removed (according to Amass), my Camellia bush might need to be dug up, and part of my fence needs to be removed BEFORE they can even start digging. Not a word from him today. No call, no text, no email, no one in my yard! I can understand that a company is busy but give me a date that you actually plan to be here. Don't string me along. My time matters. If you can't start the job until Friday, tell me! After sitting here all day waiting for some kind of communication, I looked up his company and found the negative reviews. I do not want to drag this issue out any longer than it needs. I need to have my sewer line, my yard and everything else back to where it should be. Since Amass has not even started any part of the job, I had homeserve reassign it. UPDATE: The owner arrived this morning. There was no text or call before arrival. I had already cancelled his services thru homeserve. Unfortunately homeserve did not tell him so it was left up to me this morning. He was very polite and friendly. UPDATE #2: A plumber from another company came out a few days later. He said it was a backed up line. He snaked it and removed some roots. Most of the sewer line AMASS wanted to replace wasn't even part of my current sewage system. My house was flipped a few years ago and the sewer line was rerouted. The part that had a crack and was leaking into my yard was acting as an overflow. AMASS never even put a scope into my line to see what was going on. In fact when he came to my house, he was in my yard a total of about 5 min. In which time he deduced I needed 20 feet replaced.

A mass inc...Hampton VA. Came to my house on July 18th to fix a leak from my water to my house..took him all day no big deal it was getting fix. Enjoyed talking to him thought he was a nice guy. He left the hole open so I called to ask if he was going to fill it back in and bring me the letter he said he would give me to send to the water company so I wouldn't have to pay that high bill. Two weeks went by and no call no show. I had lost his number so I called home serve my insurance company and they sent him a request to come fill in the hole and bring my letter. He threw the dirt back in the hole..big hump in my yard..I called to ask where the letter was. he said I will be out there by the end of week very rude. The end of the week I called back. Again he was very rude and said I told you by the end of the week. I said it has been a month and he snapped back no it hasn't. And hung up. So I gave him a bad review on Google. I sent him a text the other day and asked if he was going to honor his word he said you take down the review and I will. So I edited the review. Text him again today and told him I would give him till Sunday to honor his word . He said don't threaten me..I told him not a threat it is a promise. The reviews will be back..so now I am letting everyone know don't do business with this man. He is rude does sloppy work and doesn't keep his word

I must agree with customer Love’s comment. The service people I spoke with on the phone and the one that came to my house were rude and unprofessional. They were running late and did not call, while I sat there wasting a whole day out of work. Then when I called them, they were crass and not apologetic. The plumber barely looked at the problem and then said it’s not covered under the service agreement. I guess he did me a favor if his work is as bad as his attitude. If you have HomeServe plumbing protection and they say they are sending A-MASS, call back and request another company immediately.
