We cannot recommend Bear Mechanical highly enough! Bob, their exceptional plumber, went above and beyond to complete a total boiler replacement in our 1904-built home. This was no small task—replacing an antiquated oil-fired boiler with a natural gas system, disposing of the old unit, and reworking extensive plumbing to supply both domestic hot water and properly pressurized radiator heating for our two-story house. This 5-day project was made even more challenging by the coldest week of the year, during which we had no heat or hot water. Despite these conditions, Bob worked tirelessly, often late into the night, to ensure we would regain hot water service as quickly as possible. Bob’s expert craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to quality were truly remarkable. Not only does the new system work flawlessly, but the aesthetic quality of his work is a testament to his skill and pride in his profession. Bob Corson and his helper came to replace my water heater in my basement. Not only did they show up early, but they explained everything along the way. The were amazing and friendly. Knowledgeable and patient. They had everything they needed and they wrapped up the job well before the estimated time. The water heater is head and shoulders better than the old one, even on its best day! I will keep these guys in mind the nexttime I need their services.
