They told me that the caulking looked great and it was a courtesy anyway. When we called the owner, he stood by his employee. 24 hours after the caulk dried, the faucet was not attached or sealed to the shower.

Do not use this company….. Budget Plumbing was assigned to me via my Choice Home Warranty Insurance Company. I had a toilet that would not flush in my rental property. The plumber who came out; I believe his name was Mark, who by the way had to continuously let me know he was from New York and was the best plumber around; said that there was a calcium buildup in the toilet and it had to be replaced. To make a long story short, my insurance company denied the claim because toilet replacement was not covered. So the cost to replace the toilet had to be an out of pocket expense for my husband and I. Mark quoted me a price of $425, but when I told him I could get it cheaper with someone else, he said he could do it for $325.00. We agreed and the toilet was installed. Once installed, Mark said that my Flange was bent so he could not put the toilet on straight and now there was a gap which is causing the toilet to rock. He said we didn’t have to worry about it leaking and to fix the rocking, we just had to fill in the gap with caulking called Plaster of Paris around the bottom and that this was how they do it in New York. Well not even 2 days later, the toilet was leaking from the bottom where the gap was. I called the main office and surprisingly she answered and agreed to send Mark back out. No time frame was given and I assumed that I would receive a courtesy call to let me know what time the plumber would be back out, but that never happened. Mark showed up without calling first and my tenant didn’t get to the door in time because she was caring or her sick relative. I tried to call the office serveral times but got no answer. There voicemail says the best way to contact them is via text. So I had to text all the events that transpired that day with the plumber not calling in advance to tell us what time he was coming and how the toilet was still leaking. The front office refused to answer the phone but would only text. So I gave up contacting them. I had to hire another plumber who said the toilet was not installed properly. Now everything works fine. Please don’t use this company under no circumstances!!! They are rude and very unprofessional and I don’t ever want to do business with a company whose main method of communication is via text. Also after reading several other reviews, seems like this is how they operate daily. Buyer beware!!!!

The company is highly recommended. I placed service call to my warranty company and Budget Plumbing was out the next day to fix water heater. Please note that you have to read your warranty coverage to know what is or not covered. Looking at some of the previous poor reviews were people not reading their warranty coverages. You can't blame Budget Plumbing if you chose an invalid warranty company.

Filed a home warranty claim for a latent leak causing water damage to the room below. Team did not even open the plumbing access point to determine the cause of the leak, but instead suggested that we caulk our shower handle to start a "process of elimination" (which they rudely asked us if we knew what that meant when we asked why they were not looking in the wall via the access point). Visit lasted less than 5 minutes, and they charged us $95 for the service call. Complained to our home warranty company who sent out another contractor who did the necessary inspection and guess what...the source was a leaky pipe in the wall clearly seen from the access point. These people don't want to work...buyer beware!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!! I filed a claim to my Home Warranty Company due to a leaky toilet. Took a whole week to get an appointment with this company. Plumber came out and looked at the water draining down into the basement when the toilet was flushed. The plumber then said he had to call the Home Warranty Company because they were only allowing him 100.00 to fix the problem and it was going to cost more. I never heard back from the Plumber, instead, I received an email from my Home Warranty stating my Claim was denied. I call my Home Warranty and asked why was my claim denied. Warranty Company stated because Budget Plumbing stated that the toilet was installed wrong and the floor needed to be replaced. I tried calling Budget Plumbing to speak with someone other than the person that answers the phone and never got a callback. I called several times a day for several days. No answer and no callback. My claim was denied because of this scamming company. I had to pay out of pocket for another Plumber to come and diagnose the real issues before my Warranty Company would pay for my toilet to be fixed.

(08/13/2018): One Word "DPOR." Office of Budget Plumbing and Drain called 8/9/18 stating they don't work Sundays which they scheduled at my Choice Home Warranty website and changed it to 8/10/18 between 9am and 11am. Two men arrived late at 3:52pm, one large man and one thin, but the rude large man took control. I paid my copay as soon as he stepped in and he asked where to find crawl space access. He entered the space with his tennis shoes still visible to me at the crawl space door although the kitchen sink area was at least another 12 feet away, backed out, and stated he already knew the problem. He also stated that should a repair be made, he would not remove the water that already leaked under the house with a wet/dry vac because that's not his job. Maybe he would lay in the sewer water that drained if he fixed it. He then walked toward his truck stating he needed authorization which was not his job to call for so he would inform his office of the problem and he drove away while I thought he would return to tell me the outcome of his call. He had already stated nothing would be done today because it was too, late. I said he was supposed to arrive 9am-11am and shouldn't have taken the call if he didn't have staff to spend minutes like other contractors making a call for authorization and fixing the issue. Budget's office didn't answer the phone after this literal 2-3 minute contact, but communicated the same thing the employee said via text as though it may have been him again. I haven't heard from them since this brief contact Friday 8/10/18 as to a professional statement of the problem, what they will do, or their attempt to get authorization. A licensed professional already saw the issue and diagnosed it although he isn't part of my warranty to make the repair. How unfortunate because with this type of start and reviews which I just read, I'm afraid of what Budget Plumbing will do under my house.

The technician that originally came out on a warranty job was just ok. He turned the water temp up and said that he left my ticket open. Today, I needed to call back because of course that wasn’t a permanent fix. The office lady was so rude. She only responded thru text and now suddenly I needed to call a company that could work with propane water heaters. They should have never come or have told me that they could come back if that didn’t fix it. Now here I sit, on hold again with the home warranty company.

This is so true...and sad People are quick to give a bad review, even when it is not your fault...these home protection plan home owners are famous for blaming the vendor because they don't have the coverage through their warranty🤔 We didn't pick your plan, we only contract through them. Read Your Policy People👓🕵️‍♀️🕵️ We can fix or replace any problem or issue that you may have....but don't blame us when it is not covered by your home warranty 🤗 Support your small businesses. That what keeps the economy going. Have a great day🥰
