My septic holding tank was backing up at 7 am on a Friday morning. Southern Plumbing of VA responded promptly within two hours. They pumped my tank diagnosed the problem in no time and had me back up and running before I got home. They were very thorough and explained every step taken and communicated with me. Great job Southern Plumbing!!

Southern Plumbing was professional, on-time and provided great advice to complete our project! The inspectors commented that the job was flawless and shared it’s not common to not have follow up questions for the type of work we had completed. We were just as pleased as the inspectors! They added a full basement bathroom, sump pump system, adding water lines, kitchen sink and refrigerator. Daniel was also able to complete electrical and HVAC work passing all inspections! All PERFECT!! Thank you and looking forward to enjoying the space you helped create!

Daniel and Trace were fantastic! They promptly came by this morning to size up the fix on our back yard fountain. They came back this afternoon and fixed it in the rain. Great guys, southern gentleman and very smart. We will be calling them again! Trace and Cash were professional and gentlemen in stalling our new water filtration system on 2/24/25! Thank you. Extremely pleased with the service! I had a dishwasher installed today, 01/31/25. It was a tricky job since my condo did not have a dishwasher before. Aaron Brown did the hook ups to the dishwasher and replaced my existing plumbing which was a bit of a mess! Daniel Roady replaced my old electrical box & installed an additional box for the dishwasher. The install required some drywall work which was also done by Daniel. The dishwasher was installed in the space where my refrigerator once stood. No cabinets to anchor the new install but Daniel made it work. The new plumbing and dishwasher were tested for leaks and stability. The workspace was left CLEAN! I was given measurements for a cabinet top to further secure the dishwasher. I know I paid for the job, but the pair absolutely DID IT RIGHT! I'm very pleased and will use Southern Plumbing for all my plumbing needs. There are payment options to make things easy. Thanks a million, Southern Plumbing!

Had two guys come out this morning to snake drain and run camera to find the issue. Was quoted before hand that they were running an $89 special for said request. In the past I have had issues with tree roots causing slow drainage/ clogging. After running equipment in front of the house clean out they stated it would be around $9,000 to fix the issues. After requesting them to come inside to run snake/ camera it was realized that the clog was coming from right below my interior clean out from Roots. Person ran the snake without any attachments down interior clean out and followed that up with a camera inspection from exterior clean out and confirmed it was roots. Did not add attachment to snake to cut roots but quoted me on a $5700 job that would resolve the problem long term. So after the two hour appointment and $430 the roots that I believed to be the issue all along are still there and I am out the $430. I am Not sure of the policy of the company but in the past the people I have hired would attached root cutting bits to the snake to clear the pipe of the roots. I just feel like I paid money for someone to quote me on two big jobs that would cost between $5700 and the other closer to $10,000. In a perfect world they would have identified the problem as the roots and cut them out with their equipment and once they finished that offer the long term solution of fixing the pipes where the roots are coming in. I am giving two stars because both guys who came out were friendly and polite.

Cannot say enough good things about this company. The customer service was upfront and professional, they were friendly and understanding. The workmanship was worth every penny, they absolutely put heart and soul into this home project. The price was also reasonable. Makes me hopeful that we are getting back to quality contract work.

One of my toilets stopped flushing, I used an app called Angi to find a plumber, I submitted the issue I was having via message, and I received a reply from Southern Plumbing, I was told someone would come to my home, check what the issue could be, and give me an estimate, we scheduled an appointment the Technician came, checked it, told me what needed to be repaired and it was done! I highly recommend Southern Plumbing! The professional experienced plumbing technician Ryan provided A+ service, and he topped it off with a wonderful personality!! Thank you so much!!
