Very fast, knowledgeable, respectful, courteous, very thorough! What a great job and customer Service top-notch!! 10/20/24. Well, it’s finally done. This was a long project to get taken care of because of weather. We went so long without rain and as soon as we broke ground, of course it poured Chris Randy and all the people at Woodfin has done a great job! I will say that all jobs are not perfect and things go wrong time to time Dealing with these men made this job 100% better great communication throughout the entire project. I would highly recommend their services and have already started a new project with them extremely happy customers. The McCoy’s!!!!

Phenomenal experience. Had an emergency plumbing issue early in the morning and the technician was here within a couple of hours. The technician (Anthony) was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He diagnosed the issue and told me what I needed and what I didn’t need. Will use these folks again. Great company; great service. I have to add to my original review. We had an excellent experience with Zach (master electrician) a few months after our original call to Woodfin. We had an exterior post light that had been defectively installed in a brick retaining wall, making a repair impossible. Zach came up with the idea of using a low voltage alternative, which we approved. On the day of installation, Zach had been on call for the weekend and had worked until 2:30 am. Nevertheless, he worked at our house all day to make sure the install went well. The results are amazing (at least we think so). But more importantly, this level of service is unmatched in today’s world. Kudos to Zach and his colleague Chance. They are good people doing good work.

Great experience! The customer service, products, everything was great!! Salesman was great! Very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything. Ensured all questions were answered and ensured he was available afterwards for additional questions. Also you can’t beat the 0% interest rate! Installation for two units and two furnaces was great. They cleaned up well and was respectful of the property. Great customer service, not in a rush, took the time for customer satisfaction. Follow up: Tech support came out to recalibrate the thermostats as they were showing lower temps than actual temp. Called and got an appointment the next day. Tech was friendly, knowledgeable, and took care of the issue. So far I’m very happy across the board, no complaints!!

Paul was GREAT! He took care of swapping out an old faucet along with getting my gas fireplace working again. Paul is always polite, kind, considerate and does an excellent job of cleaning to ensure no mess is left behind.

Woodfin arrived on time to install my new dishwasher. They were very friendly and professional. The job was challenging as the plumbing was old and needed quite a bit of updating. They also installed a new water line for the ice maker in my new refrigerator and replaced the spray hose and drain in my kitchen sink. This is my second time using Woodfin and both experiences were excellent. I will be calling them to install my new heating and air conditioning system when the time comes. Thank you Woodfin!

Anthony came to my house on March 17th and I wanted them to fix my bottom shower faucet. Before he started he said he was going to fix and replace my shower faucet with a valve for $486. Then, he gave me a document to sign and I signed it. Afterwards, when I finished signing the document he took both faucet and the valve out the shower. Then, he explains that he was going to go back to his warehouse, and to get the new shower faucet with valve. He returned and came back and said that he can’t find a replacement for the shower faucet at his warehouse so he told that he will have to use the old shower faucet with valve that I had. I tried to explain to him that he can’t use the old shower and charge me the amount of money for answering replacement. And so, Anthony started speaking to me rudely and treating me rude. I tried to explain again to him that with the old shower faucet with valve the pipes would keep leaking and so, all of a sudden he said he thinks he had a new replacement in his truck. He begins to tell me that he is going to charge me an extra $119 for the new replacement. So then, I started saying that he can’t up charge because now because the new amount is $582.72 which is not what we initially agree upon. Anthony continue to have an attitude throughout the service. When he finished, he didn’t put the shower faucet back on correctly and left it crooked. When I asked him to fix it because I noticed it was misaligned and crooked he told he wasn’t going to because the previous plumber left it like that. After he left, I called the company and the receptionist, Whitney, told me that they were going to send their manager an email and have someone get back to me and that was from the 17th and it’s now the 22nd of March and I haven’t heard back from anyone. I will never do business with them ever again.

We replaced a roof for a client and accidentally punctured the line set that Woodfin ran directly to the underside of the plywood (picture attached). From my understanding, this is directly against building code as code requires a 1.5” offset so that things like this don’t happen. Even if it’s not code, I can’t imagine it being wise to run the line set between roofing nails on the underside of the roof. As the roofing contractor we have to sometimes make reasonable assumptions that other tradesman do their work correctly and put it right in our contract that we aren’t responsible for lines recklessly close to the underside of the roof. However, instead of having our client have the headache and expense of fixing the issue we took the $1,400 bill our client received from Woodfin directly off our bill. I called Woodfin about the issue no less than 5 times over about 3 weeks before finally getting the response that they will only refund $400 off their $1,400 bill to fix their issue. As a frame of reference, we had this happen about 5 years ago with James River Air and when they saw that one of their technicians attached the line set too close to the roof line they quickly apologized and didn’t charge their client anything to fix it. It was a night and day difference in service. I understand that mistakes can be made, we make plenty ourselves. But when we do we correct them the best we can. This slow and ultimately inadequate response from Woodfin is disappointing.

Today, on 3/13/2025, I have decided to TERMINATE my total home comfort protection plan (10-10-10 plan) and any further business with *Woodfin*. I have had too many concurrent problems with this business to date. Today, they once AGAIN emailed me with charge of $139 for my total home comfort plan which did NOT EXPIRE until 2026 NOT in 2025. This was NOT an isolated incident with *Woodfin and was the final straw for me. Also, they were supposed to correct it and did NOT until I phoned back at the end of their business day asking why. *Katie Elmore, customer service representative responded only AFTER I called and then her only response was by way of email. Customer service is poor there no matter what they claim. Would I endorse this business? Absolutely NOT. In fact, I choose NOT to do business with them anymore.
