Over the years Hicks has done a variety of projects at my historic house -- big ones like water line replacement and removal of a whole-house trap, and smaller ones like clearing the basement drain and replacing faucets. Every project has been completed as promised. Tony Hicks understands the way houses work and has offered sound advice on things we needed to take care of. We're really pleased with every aspect of their service and will continue to use them in the future.

I recently moved to Vienna and upon encountering a few plumbing issues in my home, I wanted to hire a local company to come do the work. I stumbled on Hick's Plumbing, based right here in town. From first contact, Christine made me feel like we were having a conversation among neighbors rather than a business transaction. She was patient in listening to all of my issues, and was honest with her scheduling availability. She even recommended another local company if I needed the job done immediately. Right there, I felt a degree of integrity that made me want to work with Hicks. They even offered free estimates on the work! I had a tight work schedule and Christine was incredibly understanding and scheduled me for a timeslot. Tony showed up exactly when he said he would, and the service got even better from there. When I explained the issues, instead of just quoting me a price and then charging me a ton, he explained that all of the issues were things I could do myself and could save a few bucks on by proceeding that way. He even showed me how to do it! This level of service and integrity is unbelievable in today's corporate approach to everything. Hick's has earned my trust, my business and my recommendation to anyone that needs plumbing help. They are an honest, local company, and worth a call for your plumbing needs as well!

I've used Hicks Plumbing now three times in the last year or so: for a sewer line repair, toilet removal, and faucet repair/replacement. Appointments are available when I call; they show up when they say they will and do the work right the first time! (I have had more than one plumbing company whose work I had to have redone.) Also friendly folks. I will continue to call them and to recommend them to others.

There’s no excuse to give them less than 5 stars. As a customer, I expect reasonable and professional service, and Hicks Plumbing delivered exactly that. Just before Christmas Day, my kitchen sink got clogged, and I found Hicks Plumbing on Google Maps. Despite the busy holiday season, they arrived at my home very quickly. The service was professional, and the fees were reasonable. I think I’ve found my go-to plumbing company!

Very fair pricing, courteous and reliable. Came for multiple projects ( clogged toilet, leaking pipes) and explained what was going on and didn’t try to push us into buying things or fixing things we didn’t need. Worked with us and our hectic schedule; were very flexible, reliable, and trustworthy. Would def recommend them! Cheaper to write a check and avoid credit card service charge, so be prepared to write one if you want to save a little money.
