Tech City Plumbing and Drain Service

I had a leaky toilet. Tech City was initially helpful. The price to remove and inspect the toilet was $450 (which I paid). The initial appointment was "free," but to "inspect" it was $450. I already figured this would be the case so I paid no problem. The leak caused damage to the flooring which I removed so that the flange could be replaced/repaired. We had a short window in which this needed to be done. I called Tech City back saying the flooring had been removed and we were ready for the flange repair. The tech scheduled the appointment and asked for a picture of the existing flange. I sent the photo and confirmed the appointment. The tech responded saying they were canceling the appointment and would schedule it when we were ready to re-set the toilet. For reference this would have been another $600+ fee, meaning the only way they would replace the flange is if I was going to pay another $500 toilet re-set fee + the flange repair fee. Why didn't they just repair the flange when they were there initially? They could have easily accessed the flange without the flooring being removed. Yet in still, they could have said up front "hey we will charge a minimum service fee no matter what." Fortunately, I found another plumber to take care of the issue no problem with up-front pricing. My two cents, if you use Tech City, be crystal clear with pricing. Lastly, please ensure follow up calls. I was told two times that I would be called back to confirm the first and second appointment, but never was.

A big thank you to Justin for solving our kitchen drain clog. It turned out to be very complex and difficult, and he went the extra mile to get it fixed. Service was prompt and easily scheduled, very professional, and fairly priced. Thank you to Tech City for being there for us!

These folks are great! Fixing things right on the first go-round, quickly and with a great attitude and a firm knowledge of their craft. Fair pricing as well! Johnny was quick to find out that my disposal was leaking because of a fitting that had come loose, and fixed it rapidly. I wish every trades worker I hired was as good as them!

Outstanding work! My laundry room flooded, and they came out and handled it. Their response time was fast, efficient, honest, and the cost/value 100%! I've dealt with plumbers for years based on what I do and I can attest that these guys are the best... and I don't put my name out there with recommendations easily. No one wants to need a plumber, and it's no fun finding a good one. I got really lucky and found Justin at Tech City Plumbing. A lot of people don't want to deal with "do it yourselfers" messing things up. Justin was early and was very understanding as I explained what I tried before calling. He found the clog that I couldn't, and was done in 1/10th the time I spent trying to do it myself. Professional and personable, he then gave me some ideas on some future work I will need done. I'll absolutely use Justin and Tech City again in the future.

I would absolutely recommend this company. I thought I needed a garbage disposal replacement, and I was able to get an appointment the next day. Johnny came out and with a push of the reset button it is now working. He did not charge me for the visit and asked if there was anything else that I had questions about. He was very informative and helpful.

I had a wonderful experience with a garbage disposal repair. A little costly to just tighten the disposal but understood. I called them again for a quote to replace shower/tub faucets they came looked it over and I never heard from them again. Even after a follow up. Very unfortunate
