Michael (Mick) of Companion Plumbing and Heating was wonderful and went out of his way to troubleshoot our heat pump issue. Mick was very knowledgeable, and took the time to figure out the problem. This is our first time calling on Mick, and it won’t be the last. We are so happy that we now know who to call with any of our plumbing and heating needs. Call Companion. You won’t be disappointed!

We were remarkably pleased with the installation of a new furnace and hot water heater, but the follow up and warranty work was phenomenal. After installation, Mick came back to verify the venting and to replace a vent cap. Three years later, the pilot on the water heater could not be ignited. We called Mick and he volunteered to check it out that day after he finished the project he was at. He arrived around 5:30pm, quickly assessed the circumstance and found the water heater had failed in total and needed to be replaced. Mick keeps replacement tanks in his truck and indicated he was willing to replace it that night since he was booked out for the next several weeks and wanted us to have hot water. Its 9:00pm and he is finishing up. Mick embodies that combination of competence, integrity and commitment that you hope to experience in a contractor.

Some pipes in our garage began leaking due to a failure in the pressure regulator. We called Mick in the morning and he was able to stop by the same day for a repair which was great because we were losing a good amount of water and were worried about other pipes in the home bursting due to the increased water pressure. He replaced the broken regulator and installed a more reliable main shutoff valve (which actually looks like a shutoff valve compared to the plastic junk we had before). Mick was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional and had us back up and running in just a couple hours. He also helped us troubleshoot a small issue with our dishwasher, free of charge. We are very happy with Mick's work and he will be the first person we call if we ever need additional plumbing work!

Mick (owner Companion Plumbing) exemplifies personalized customer service with accurate estimates and on-time service. We needed an outdoor faucet bib replacement which he switched to a better design for easier hose attachment and added an indoor shutoff valve. He carefully explained everything that needed to be done along with future advice. The job was done quickly and cleaned up nicely afterwards. He honored the original estimate despite adding the indoor valve and would not even accept a tip. We've already scheduled another job to fix a leaking Dornbracht kitchen faucet awaiting parts.
