Andy arrived on scheduled time, offered trench-less options. Provided 2 options, either just replaced the plastic pipe between the meter and outside the house. Or option 2, update the copper pipe inside with new ball switch and pressure Regulator . Choose between 250PSI heavy duty pipe or copper K single all the way (no joints). I requested the quotes for using copper K only and option 1 or 2. Got the quote same day on Friday. They made the offered I can’t refused. Signed the contact Monday. They came in today Tuesday and completed the job within 4 hours. People won’t able to tell that they were here looking at our garden. 3 big holes (3 feet deep) were dug. These were after photos. Also no plants were harmed.

When you have an underground water leak you're sort of at the mercy of the first person to call you back or answer their phone. Not having much luck with either, I was able to get an appointment with a large and well know Seattle plumbing company who sent a sales person out only to tell me that I needed a whole new water line and that it wasn't even worth doing a leak detection. Not comfortable with this assessment I immediately got on google and after reading many similar reviews decided to give Akers Outdoor Plumbing a call. To my surprise, not only did they they pick up the phone, but Traci said that she'd have someone out in an hour to assess the situation. This was on a Friday afternoon mind you. Andy showed up, not much longer after the last person left, asked a few thoughtful questions and like a detective found the source of the leak in about 10 minutes. Andy scheduled his crew to come up the next business day and the leak was repaired. 5 stars to Akers!

I can’t begin to say how happy I am we selected Akers to replace our main water line. We recently received a letter from the water company saying our water usage was abnormally high. We quickly determined there was a leak between our meter and house. After some research we called the five highest rated plumbing companies. Ryan from Akers came out the same day I called. I was immediately impressed with his professional demeanor and knowledge. His understanding of our existing plumbing turned out to be exactly what was there and the estimate was very reasonable and competitive. After receiving the rest of the quotes it was an easy decision to select Akers. Traci coordinated the utility marking and validated that where I live doesn’t have permit and inspection requirements (I checked too and she was right!). Ryan and his crew showed up and dug right in. They dug down where crossing utilities were so they could avoid hitting them. The existing water line was just where Ryan thought with the connections also being what he thought. They found the source of the leak coming from a section under our driveway. Finding it and the location I am glad we decided on replacing the line. They quickly installed the new water line and restored our yard as much as the rain would allow. Best of all they didn’t need to break any concrete! They will be back in a couple weeks to finish up once the mud/soil has settled. In all, the job took 4 hours when I had expected 10+. For price, quality and experience Akers can’t be beat. I would recommend them to anyone!

Akers replaced my water line recently and I couldn't be more impressed with the professionalism. I have a long driveway (over 200') with a shared utilities easement, and one of my neighbors maintains a garden over it. Akers laid a new water line under the garden without disturbing any of the landscaping. They got the project done on-time and on-budget. The whole team was great to work with -- no surprises, and everyone was great to talk to.

Great experience with the whole Akers team! I was in a pinch with a leak in my main line over seafair weekend. Andy came out the same day to review the issue, get me an estimate, and suggest some ways to mitigate the issue so the 5 of us at the house could have water. Then on Monday they were here and put in a full new line! Other places were weeks out and more expensive. The whole crew was super nice, didn't need anything from me, but also was happy to chat and explain everything to suit my curiosity.

Akers did a fantastic job replacing our broken water main after Seattle's recent big freeze. It's always a great sign when the city inspector shows up to sign off and says that Akers is a great plumber and that he barely has to check their work. But here are other ways they went above and beyond: 1. I called their office line for a quote at 8pm fully expecting to leave a message and Traci picked up and got us scheduled for a bid the first thing next morning. I did not expect service like that! 2. They returned the quote the same day, and it was very competitive on pricing, especially against some of the big names. They didn't nickle and dime us, another contractor added a line item to replace a 2x2 concrete piece that needed to come up for access to the main. 3. They are the cleanest contractors I've ever had the pleasure of working with. You can hardly tell where they had to dig a few holes to access our water main, and they left the property truly good and new and with almost no sign they were even here. Even the little concrete pad they replaced looks great! 4. They handled everything with the city for the inspection, super easy. 5. Ryan, Andrew and the crew were friendly dudes, put up with all my questions with great patience and can I mention again how clean they were? 6. Traci was great with communication and always let us know next steps and timing. Akers saved us from having no water at a fair price and did an all around excellent job. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Akers Outdoor Plumbing were professional in every aspect of the job. They were extremely knowledgable about the best way to install a new water line in a challenging yard with many mature plants and trees that they took great care to protect. I give them my highest recommendation.

We had a minor water leak for a couple of years from the line that was leaking into the yard. It got worse and water started coming into the basement, and I found Akers, got a quote that included bypassing the existing line and replacing with a trench less new line. Our house had a strange configuration where the water line and shut off valve inside the house came through the downstairs shower. Ryan and the great Akers crew re-routed the water line through the basement wall and moved the shut off valve into the laundry room. Our water bill had been pretty high and just got the latest bill and just over $100 for two months. Great work and service, and the crew was very professional, and I highly recommend them. Kurt
