Hugo Lira was excellent with his communication about his arrival time and Gene Johnson emailed me a link to for the location tracker of the vehicle so I could see how far he was, which was a cool feature. Hugo is a really personable, knowledgeable, and an efficient plumber, and I will recommend him to anyone who has plumbing needs. He offered me different options to fix my toilet, and I decided to go with a full toilet replacement which included the shut-off valve replacement which I really needed. I was curious to learn about what needed to be done and he was very welcoming to allow me to watch the process and explained what he was doing very clearly. He showed me where my main shut off valve was, which was necessary as my toilet shut-off valve could not be turned off completely. He then replaced that valve and I understand the theory behind it, but I would not have been able to do it myself in practice. Ask for Hugo if you need anything fixed! We needed to contact a plumber in a hurry as our water heater failed and leaked water all over our lower level. As it is a busy time of year - the first appointment wasn't available until 4 days from the time of incident. After communicating with the sales person our situation, they were able to work with a technician who was able to work a bit longer over the weekend to assist us in getting our heater replaced in a more timely manner. Pavel Murashev was our technician and he arrived promptly and was extremely professional the entire time. He was able to save us some money, based upon our ultimate needs and future requirements. Within a few hours, we were completely back up with hot water, with a system that was far superior than what we had previously, and a guarantee for 10 years. In addition, Pavel showed us how to use the system and perform homeowner maintenance on the unit to help prolong the life of the water heater. He left the space clean and was pleasant to work with. It was an excellent experience and one that I would recommend to anyone - urgently or even scheduled maintenance.

I needed a new boiler and a hot water heater for a 110-year-old house. Chad Hendrix from Gene Johnson was very professional, knowledgeable, agreeable and efficient, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He thoroughly explained the system he was installing. This project took over a week of full-time work and he made an especial point to always tell me when he would arrive and to give a run-down of the work he’d done at the end of each day. Chad truly loves his job. And when your job is his job, it’s a win/win.

Our ice machine broke and instead of repairing it a third time we decided to run water to our refrigerator. It involved running a new water line and cutting out some sheet rock to access the the water line and make access in the wall behind the refrigerator. Called Gene Johnson at noon and Stephen Fritz was at our place within hour and half. Scheduled for the next morning at 8am. Done by 11am. They strategically cut a small hole in the sheetrock. Right where the water line was. Fantastic job and we now have filtered water and ice. From call to finish in less than 24 hours.

Derek was very thorough, patient, knowledgeable, and had a solid answer for any question I threw at him. Even through I had a competing bid at a lower price I decided to go with him and his company, and I’m thrilled by the results. Quality work at a reasonable price, what more could you ask for?

Mark Ochoa came out from Gene Johnson plumbing, heating and electric to do a plumbing inspection of our home. He was thorough and professional, but also friendly and informative. It's great to know what needs to be done in our aging home. I highly recommend their monthly service contract that give HVAC, plumbing and electrical inspections on a schedule so you have a chance to deal with things before you end up with a big problem.. We would definitely love to have Mark come back for our next plumbing inspection. 5 stars all the way!

Very good experience! My hot water heater stopped working fairly late on one Sunday evening. I called plumbers as soon as I could the next morning. Gene Johnson sent Daniel by 11:00 am. Daniel was great he worked diligently until 8:30 that evening. He was careful, thorough, kindly answered all my questions—couldn’t have been a nicer man! That evening I had hot water again! Thank you Daniel and Gene Johnson!

Steven Fritz was absolutely excellent to work with on our plumbing. He quickly identified the minimum necessary to solve our problem and then built up from there. He mapped out multiple different options for us and carefully explained the reasoning behind each scenario. I never felt “upsold”, it felt like a family friend had come out to take a look at our plumbing. His genuine and well communicated approach was above and beyond the call of duty, he even noted a quick fix on an unrelated item and did the work and parts for free. Exceptional experience all around and an exemplary member of the team. He has my highest recommendation!
