Had an issue with tankless water heater, Derek Villar came out and made the assessment of the issue and gave me a couple of options. I opted to have a new system, and he did a great job in getting that installed and finished even thou there were some challenges. Great service, great turn around, and new system works so much better than the old one ever did so far. Thank you.

I found Gene Johnson because of the google reviews and I am so glad I did. The company was amazing from the first phone call. Daniel expertly assessed our problem, including a complicated pressure reducing valve that had to be replaced from the street. It was a massive project converting to a tankless water heater, and Daniel and Austin worked so hard get everything done in 3 days. They were so friendly and great communicators, and so knowledgeable. Beyond impressed. Could not recommend more highly. 🙏 And our hot water is amazing!

Excellent experience! Derek Villar was assigned to my job. He was courteous, efficient (an excellent plumber!) and exceedingly honest. The initial quote for the job was reduced significantly once he opened the wall to examine the shower valve leak - and realized it wasn't as serious as anticipated. Ask for him if you get the chance. Couldn't recommend more highly - how every service experience should be!

Tyler H. with Gene Johnson plumbing installed a new hot water heater for me in our condominium in the Kirkland area. He did an excellent job quoting the work, looking for discounts, and providing multiple quotes with various options. We got the 50 Gal 4500W electric Bradley White with new supply lines and new expansion tank and new earthquake strapping and city permitting. This came to about $3,000 with tax, but we added a mixing valve for a total of $4136. It took Tyler about 3+ hours to remove the old tank, install and test new tank. It looks like professional work and Tyler is a super nice guy working hard and communicating well. Gene Johnson does an excellent job of scheduling and communicating. It’s one of those things where I didn’t like the price, even though I had gotten four different quotes, but I very much like the completed work and suspect I’ll soon forget how much it cost.

My appointment was to consult on getting a new hot water heater, which I knew I needed. Jose, was on time and showed me different options with a recommendation for the middle choice, which I had already decided on. Even better, he proposed taking care of everything that day. (I could have arranged a different day if needed.) Jose took care of everything and by 12:45 I had my new water heater installed with the old one removed. I also appreciate getting a text in advance with the arrival time of the technician along with a photo. The whole process was easy, well priced with a respectful and friendly tech. Highly recommend!

Sean was fantastic. He was informative, thorough, communicative, and easy to work with. He diagnosed and communicated the inspection results clearly and quickly made the repairs. I don’t exactly remember who I spoke with on the phone, but they were very personable and accommodating. I highly recommend this service.

Wow, these guys are AMAZING! We had a different plumber for a while but we were getting poor service from him towards the end so switched to Gene Johnson. We were mid-renovation with some plumbing issues and new things needing to be done. Gene Johnson are awesome, I found them through Yelp, read all the reviews and we have used them twice now. They usually come out on the same day I call (WOW) and are such wonderful people, very good prices & diagnosed the issues and fixed everything so quickly. AMAZING, HONEST and ON TIME! What more can you want! I will continue to use them for our kitchen remodel as we go, never switching from these guys again. Josue Ochoa came out to us and he’s just fantastic, listens, asks all the right questions & top service! Super happy customer here 👍

Update: We came to Gene Johnson again to get our sump pump replaced and again, excellent service! Pavel has gone above and beyond to investigate and diagnose our complicated pump system, order a non-standard pump, and keep us updated throughout the process! Thank you, Pavel and Gene Johnson! Original: Our experience with Gene Johnson was great. Darrin Benjamin was fantastic. He explained everything clearly and was very accommodating to our scheduling needs. He even noticed some "no parking signs" during his visit to clean our sump basins and preemptively called to see if there would be a space issue for hydro jetting our lines, prompting us to reschedule. He made a very tidy job out of very dirty work. He absolutely provided Gold standard service! And Gene Johnson has been so flexible working with us for scheduling. It's been overall a great experience.
