Pioneer Plumbing & Sewer

I've dealt with many plumbing companies in my sixty years, and Pioneer Plumbing & Sewer are hands down the best. Today was the second time that Carl has been to my residence for plumbing issues. He is always professional, polite, and quite personable. He does a thorough job while explaining his process. Carl was quick to answer any and all of my questions without making me feel silly for asking. I always keep my kitchen and bathroom spotless, but somehow, they were cleaner when Carl left. I know an excellent company and an exceptional employee when I see them, and with Pioneer, you definitely get both.

great company, great staff. They came in with the right answers, knew exactly what needed to be done, and made me feel like the situation was under control. This was not the case when the leak first started. Highly recommended for anybody needing plumbing work in the Seattle area.

Pioneer responded quickly when I called about my water main leak. They were flexible in scheduling a time for plumbing based on when the excavator was finished digging trench. They worked quickly and efficiently and charged a fair price. Highly recommend.

I called Pioneer because a good friend has worked with them to have his house's sewer line replaced, and he recommended them. Easily got the time scheduled, then a follow up call - there were unexpected changes, could we change the date? Of course, these things happen, and I was happy to accommodate the request. The day of the appointment, I received a confirmation phone call; their plumber would arrive in the next 15-20 minutes. Very helpful. Carl (Karl? I am unsure of how to spell his name) arrived, and was an absolutely outstanding plumber. I mean, I'm not a plumber, but I've been taken to the cleaners by unprofessional and unscrupulous plumbers, and Carl was both professional and friendly. Carl diagnosed and fixed the problem in my home quickly and efficiently. Absolutely recommend both Pioneer and Carl to anyone who asks. Five stars all the way.

I couldn’t be happier with the work by Pioneer Plumbing (water heater). They helped diagnose the issue patiently and thoroughly. I never doubted they were working hard to make every minute count. Terrific value and communication. I plan to use them for any future plumbing needs.

Pioneer came to flush out the sewer line in my apartment, and left leaving splashed sewage everywhere; doors, shower curtain, wall, and likely the towels. Could have landed on my toothbrush! Horrified to come back home to such a disaster.

I had a disappointing experience with this plumbing company. They were hired to unclog my apartment toilet and, while they successfully resolved the clog, their tools left visible marks on the porcelain. I contacted the company multiple times to address the damage, and they initially promised to rectify the situation. However, they have since become unresponsive. I would expect a professional business to take responsibility for accidental damage and address the issue promptly.

This is the third plumbing company we’ve had out to our house since we bought it last Sept, and we finally have a winner! Pioneer was originally recommended by our real estate agent, but when our hot water tank failed eight days after we bought the house, Pioneer couldn’t come out for over a week. Since we obviously couldn’t go that long without hot water, we went with another company that could do the work in a couple days. While we now have an on-demand system, it was installed improperly and had to be fixed again – yikes. So when we had a subsequent pressure problem, we called a different company. The problem was resolved, but the plumber was very salesman-y for some additional work. When our disposal stopped working, I decided it wasn’t urgent and I’d wait for Pioneer to send someone out. So glad we did. The plumber quickly assessed the problem, thoroughly explained to me what happened, and told me the disposal was otherwise fine after unjamming it - saving me what I thought would be a pricy replacement. He was respectful, helpful, and punctual. Would definitely call Pioneer again first.
