Due to an inexpert repair by a non-plumbing contractor several years ago, a leak had developed in the main outflow pipe from my second floor kitchen. The leak was not just behind the dishwasher, but also behind the drywall in back of it, and then out of sight behind the adjacent cabinetry. (Please, people, don't install cabinets in front of pipes!) Simple Plumber was able to diagnose the problem expertly. The offending, and near-unreachable piping was cut off, and replaced with new, accessible pipes to the outflow. Before and after photos attached. The cabinets remain intact, there's no leak behind, and the kitchen sink is useable again. Simple Plumber is the real deal!

I'm lucky to know a caring professional like Joe. I've had several odd piping issues at my house, interior and exterior, and Joe has always been HUGELY helpful over the phone and in person. He really cares about his craft and customers - and he doesn't just fix things; he improves them. He has longevity and sustainability in mind. He is a prompt and clear communicator (read: explainer of his craft to simpletons like me), and a real cool guy. I can't say enough nice things about Joe!

Joe is a fantastic plumber. He came to my house and fixed all my problems with my disposal, dishwasher and air gap. Everything worked perfectly after he was finished. It was easy to make an appointment with his wife Sally, he arrived on time, knew exactly what to do and got it done quickly and at a great price. I couldn’t be happier with the work he did. Several months later I had a major water leak after the a big box store dishwasher install and I couldn’t use my kitchen sink. The store couldn’t get anyone out for four days! I called Joe, sent him some pictures of the leak, he diagnosed it over the phone, explained what was going on and got it fixed for me within hours. What he did was way above and beyond any of my expectations and I was so grateful. So not only is Joe a great plumber, he is a wonderful human being and will always be my go-to plumber!

This is the best plumber I have ever used in the 35 years of living in my old house. Joe did a great job and fixed the problem in just a few minutes. He was quick to respond the same day I called and the price was very reasonable. I wi recommend him to every one of my friends.

It's such a relief to have Joe to turn to for plumbing issues. I recently discovered a leak under my kitchen sink, thanks to the water alarm that kept it from becoming a bigger problem. There are several plumbers that are rated highly here in West Seattle but the reviews for Simple Plumber spoke to Joe's consistent integrity and skills, both of which are important to me. It's clear that his clients trust him -- trust that I see is well deserved. When he arrived, he promptly diagnosed the issue as an aging (11-year- old) failing faucet. He recommended his three top brands, and I called my favorite hardware store (Junction True Value) to see if they had any in stock. They had all three brands and were waiting for him when he arrived a few minutes later. He selected a terrific faucet and then immediately got to work installing it when he got back. In addition to doing excellent work, he recommended some other service people, who I will call on as well. Some of the most helpful tips concerned what to look for when repairing/lining a sewer, which I'll need to do at some point in the next several years. I had just gotten conflicting reports from a couple different companies. Joe recommended a company I was not familiar with, and told me that the lining comes in two thicknesses -- one super thin and the other quite a bit thicker. He said that if we don't specify that we want the thicker lining, companies will often install the thin one, which doesn't hold up nearly as long. But instead of lining, he strongly recommended pipe bursting for a fix that will last decades. I also learned from him that hydro-jetting is much easier on the sewer pipe than grinding (which had been recommended to me by someone else). All of this was extremely helpful information. Simple Plumber is simply the best! We had Joe over (again) to replace our tub faucet (had a cheap faucet with a broken diverter). Upon opening the bathroom wall, he found some galvanized pipe was still running through the house. Some of it appeared to turn behind the bedroom wall, but he couldn't be sure where it led. He replaced what he could see with copper, but didn't let the job get away from him. He could have easily opened up our bedroom wall and turned the whole project into something much larger (and more costly for us). Long story short, our new faucet is wonderful. It is rare to have a professional who is capable, respectful, honest, and downright funny. If you like, he will involve you in each step of the process. Joe with Simple Plumber has done two jobs for me. He fixed a leaky toilet with complicated plumbing by rebuilding the interior toilet. Most recently he fixed a broken sink and dishwasher. His work is high quality and he is a very nice guy! I would recommend him to anyone with plumbing issues.

Joe did an excellent job installing a new toilet for us. When it comes to house work it's always great to find people you can trust. Moving forward I'll definitely always call Joe for any plumbing projects that may arise at our home. Thank you Joe!
