Second update March 7: I’ve received a refund and have adjusted my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. All of the following up (more than 3 weeks) to reach a resolution was stressful, but I am OK with how things have turned out now. ———————— Update March 7 2025: Yesterday Trisha apologized and sent me an estimate for repair work, but no sewer scope video to confirm the conditions described. She also offered me a refund but my bank doesn’t do Zelle. I sent her my info for two other money transfer services and said that if she’d prefer to send me a check instead, that would work. But haven’t actually received the actual scope video or a refund yet. ———————— Original review: Unfortunately we didn’t get what we paid for. We paid for a scope report or our sewer and drainage. Trisha’s visit went well and we wrote a check with the understanding that the report would be emailed to us. It’s been more than three weeks and she hasn’t sent the report despite me following up multiple times. She deposited our check already though. I have asked for the report, or a refund if she won’t be sending the report, but I’ve received neither. Will update my review if a resolution is reached.

Be careful you get everything you need from her before you pay! We hired Trish to reline our ancient clay sewer pipe that’s been backing up frequently into our basement. Her team got it done quickly, ended up fixing part of our gutter drainage as well, and we haven’t had any problems so far. She was communicative and great to work with during the project. However, we ended on a bit of an unfortunate note - as soon as we gave her the check, she disappeared. I never got a final invoice or any proof of inspection. It’s been two months with many reminders and she’s told me she’ll send the documents, but never has. I’d like to believe she did a good job but I have no idea. I’m trying to get reimbursed for shared costs from my neighbor, but it’s difficult without any documented proof of the work.

Our sewer collapsed and backed up into our driveway. I talked to several contractors on how to fix the problem; Trisha stood out as both very knowledgeable and pragmatic. She had a team out that day to restore service. She took the time to explain what caused the failure and various options for repairing the issue and recommended additional options to avoid some other problem spots in our 100 year old concrete pipes. I felt that her prices were more than fair given the amount of work. Her team also restored the whole area as it was before the fix. I'll be recommending her to my friends, great contractor to work with. Hopefully I don't need more sewer work in the future, but I'll know who to call if I do.

WOW !! wow! wow!!! Trisha was amazing! Totally knows what she is doing! She hydro jetted the side sewer here (with a camera) and cleared with line quickly, effectively and at a fair price. Reliable, competent, honest ( and a very nice person). I will be recommending her.

We has some water backing up into a drain and we contacted The Pipe Doctor for a quote. Trish got back to us quickly and was able to quickly understand the issue and the pros/cons of how to approach it. They were able to come out the same day, but thankfully our situation wasn't an emergency so we scheduled an appointment for early the following week. Communication was excellent, with Trish informing us that they'd be an hour late and they arrived promptly at the expected time. Everything about the visit was super transparent. She did the play by play of what we say in the scope and saw that things were flowing through fine, and checked to identify any potential source of the water. She walked me through things to look for (older pipe fittings, seepage from the foundation), things to avoid doing (drano for certain pipes), as well as when and what to look for if we experienced the same issue in the future. Overall great value, and we really appreciated the communication and transparency. We only wish we knew about The Pipe Doctor when we had our plumbing problems 5 years ago!

Tricia is the real deal. We were quoted a job by a big name sewer & drain company with a plan to open up the sidewalk, replace our old, misaligned concrete drain with PVC, and then shoot a liner out to the street. My brother-in law said we need to call The Pipe Dr, they had just done some great work for him. I told Tricia our issue, and she recommended the same procedures, for about 1/3 of the price. She showed me samples from her truck and made sure I understood the process & materials. Her crew is diligent & respectful, and had their work cleaned up and contained between service days. All properly permitted and inspected by the city before they closed it back up, and the sidewalk now looks nicer where they worked, than it does on the rest of the block. : ) The tens of thousands of dollars she saved us, and the awesome communication, and being able to support an honest, local, family run business feels like such a win/win/win. And we now have NO segments of crumbling concrete sewer between our home and main city line. Hooray!

Our sewer main line backed up last Friday at 5pm. Trisha and Josh were kind enough to come out that evening to help solve the issue. Unfortunately, the 70 year old concrete line had collapsed in on itself. They scoped it and showed me the damage and were able to locate exactly where the break was. They showed up first thing the next morning (Saturday) and replaced the broken section of pipe in just a few hours. I highly recommend The Pipe Doctors!

The Pipe Doctor (Tricia) does EXCELLENT work. She is responsive, provides clear and thorough recommendations, and is reasonably priced. I had a 100 year old sewer line with multiple downspout tie-ins that needed extensive sewer line repair through the entire line. After receiving multiple bids, including from sewer inspection companies I previously used, Tricia’s scope of work was significantly more thorough and she spent the time to inspect the entire line before providing recommendations. Other bidders either did not inspect the line, suggested short term repairs, or recommended closing off downspouts which would have caused me new problems. Tricia replaced the entire line, and her pricing was the same for a sewer line replacement vs, other contractors providing only short term repairs. The work was done quickly and I was happy with the results. I will use her again.
