ABC All 'Bout Clogs and Drain Service LLC

Saturday morning we had a problem with our 8 year old "Moen Single Handle Posi-Temp Pressure Balanced Valve". The valve had been getting hard to turn on cold mornings, which sounds strange. But, we should have had it fixed a long time ago, but most of the time it worked just fine. But, Saturday morning it got down to 12 below zero not counting the wind chill, and when I tried to turn on the shower the handle was stuck, I turned on it to make it go, which was a mistake, and it turned but no water. So, I called ABC that morning and John answered the phone, and scheduled an appointment for him to come over on his next normal business day, or Monday. But, Sunday 1 pm on Sunday I heard the water running in the shower, and could not get the shower valve to turn it off. So, I turned off the main water valve for the entire house and called ABC and left a message that I was now without water and if they could call back or come out first thing Monday it would be very appreciated. About an hour later John from ABC called me back, we spoke on the phone. I said paying weekend OT rates at this point would be acceptable because at this point we were without running water in the home, John said he would be there as soon as he took care of a couple of things. John called me back a few minutes later and said he was on his way, and he showed up at the house within a half an hour. The Shower Valve Cartridge was broken, and needed special tools to be removed, which John had in his large van. John had the shower valve repaired with an OEM Posi-Temp cartridge and we had our water back on in about an hour. John is friendly and professional, with excellent workmanship done at a very fair price. We will be sure to call John at ABC in the future.

John was very courteous and professional. He called me right back to set up an appointment. He also called before he arrived. He fixed my toilet in about an hour. No more leaks. As a new homeowner it can be very stressful when something goes wrong in your house. Especially when you see a bunch of water not draining in your basement.
