Leo and crew communicated well, were prompt, professional, and respectful, and did an excellent job with my floor tile. They used very high-quality materials and even finished a day or 2 ahead of the projected completion date. The floor is beautiful and I couldn’t be happier with their work. Highly recommend!

Leo and his team did a great job with the custom built-in shower. He quoted the project site unseen, I was a little worried at first but glad it turned out beautifully. I paid 50% payment upfront. Leo scheduled a team of specialists to show up on consecutive days to finish various tasks (demo -> plumber -> floor tile -> shower tile -> plumber -> caulking) There was a process payment of 25% about halfway through the project, and upon final inspection, I paid the remaining price. Overall a reasonable process and I'm satisfied with the result!

They did a fantastic job! My mind was blown by the responsiveness. I emailed them and literally the same day I received a text from them. I sent pictures of our kitchen and area we wanted backsplash tile to be installed, rough estimation of sq feet total, and they gave me a quote in the same day. Within 24 hours, they were in my kitchen doing demolition. The workers they sent were professional, polite, and very clean. 2 people to do the demolition, and 2 different workers the next day to install tile. The project was complete in 72 hours (roughly 30 sq feet of tile to install). It looks very professionally done and very neat work. Caveats to my review are that 1) it was overall a fairly uncomplicated straightforward project. So if yours is extremely elaborate, I cannot speak to how well they will do, but I'd personally give them a try. 2) I can't speak to the cost compared to other companies bc we just went ahead and hired them bc of how quickly they responded. It seemed reasonable to me, and the responsiveness, speed, and quality of work was well worth it!

I've hesitated to write a review for a few months but would like others to be spared my experience. I like the owner and we've talked about my experience, this review shouldn't come as a surprise. There are language barriers and the owner was rarely onsite to inspect the progress or results. Communicating what was supposed to be done was nearly impossible. Beyond that, the quality of work was shoddy. The bath plumbing was installed backwards on the controls in both bathrooms. The repair required opening a wall in the bedroom to access the plumbing - several hundred dollars for the plumber, sheetrock, etc. White sealing caulk was used on wood floors, quartz countertop was pitted following a removal of backsplash, because they didn't protect it during removal, etc. 100% out of pocked for the repairs to fix these items. In addition the crew did not clean up and take away debris on a daily basis and left our range in the middle of the kitchen over the weekend and a toilet in the bedroom for 3 weeks. There's more, but you get the idea. I did pay them as requested .. I wanted the situation to work out and like the owner and his family but I wouldn't hire them again and would caution others not to hire them until you have an iron clad understanding and expectations about the project, frequency of visits from the owner onsite to manage the project. I'd also encourage you to get the actual licenses for each of the subs for plumbing etc.and pay as you go with completion of each item. The plus side - they did a good job installing the flooring and tile work in bathrooms.

The work began in April and right from the start we found that every person coming in to do the job was ill-informed of what needed to be done. As the home owner, we landed up explaining every single aspect of what needed to be done including keeping track of the progress. Leo was completely hands off. Often workers didn't show up on time. And, with insufficient details the workers were unprepared for the job at hand. For instance, a guy that was assigned to paint and came from Battleground, WA (a 30 mile distance) was told he just has a 3-4h job when in reality it was closer to a 2 day job. This resulted in frustration for both of us. He ended up bringing his girlfriend to assist him who was in no way a professional painter. The job was badly done. A tile guy showed up who identified his expertise as being only in tiling. However, the same person was also assigned the job of installing floors, shower doors, electrical and pretty much completing any other finishing touches to our master bathroom. It took him over a week to install the shower doors and over 4 weeks to finish the master bathroom. At the end of the installation of the shower door, there was water leaking out onto the bathroom floor. It was then identified that shower doors were not sealed with caulking. There was also water leaking from the overlapping section of the sliding shower doors. This problem was never resolved despite several calls to fix it. Once again Leo was only available over the phone and only came on site to collect money. After our experience with the master bathroom, we refused to pay Leo any more money until the work was completely done. But this in no way resulted in better quality or timely work. It was clear that there were multiple other jobs Kibuk had committed to. After much back and forth, all the work was finally done 8 weeks later. However the quality of the work was far from acceptable. Finally 2 months after “completion” of the work, we noticed that the shower door in the master bath had slid off its track. So that it wouldn’t come crashing down, we tried to gently put it back in place. The door came shattering down on us resulting in multiple cuts on our bodies, a trip to the doctor’s office and emotional trauma. When we tried to tell him what had happened, we got a response that displayed a complete lack of concern and empathy for what we had just gone through. To say that working with Kibuk was a trip to hell and back would be a complete understatement. This company should not be in business. Doesn't end there. Recently, we received notification from a law firm that Kibuk has defaulted on payments and this law firm is reaching out to previous clients to see if they owe anything to Kibuk. We are now taking it up with CCB.

Leo owes us $4500 and has not paid since August for a job that he started incorrectly and did not do. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will be hiring a lawyer. He does not come to your site, asks for money in advance, sends subcontractors and refuses to communicate. His subcontractors did a small job for a friend, but we got hosed.

Giving two stars because they did complete the job that they were paid to do but not in a timely manner at all. We were rescheduled 5 times for a start date. Getting ahold of Leo is like pulling teeth, he sent me and my mom to voicemail when we had questions about being rescheduled for the 4th time. The men who game out to do the tile work didn’t speak English very well so it was hard to communicate what I wanted or when they had questions. The men who came out kept commenting on my age and how young I looked to own a home then my mother came over and he commented on her age too
very odd. Overall would not hire again, find someone who will actually communicate with you.

Outstanding guys. They did the whole job, top to bottom, and it was flawless. My wife is super happy with the job and I’m super happy with the price. Highly recommend!
